Anyone know what faction with Argent Dawn lets you buy? That's what it does right?

With Argent Dawn rep at Friendly, you can buy probably the most useful food in the game:

With the next patch, you'll need to have that rep to USE it.

Hit the Plaguelands hard; depending on your class, you may want to start grinding there as early as level 48 (not before 50 as a Paladin). At 55 or 56, start hitting Stratholme and Scholomance.

DO NOT turn in your scourgestones until you no longer get reputation gains from kills! Then turn 'em all in for an instant rep boost, I'm almost to that point now on my Paladin. Not that I need any rep past Honored as an Engineer with 300 First Aid (nice FA Recipe at Honored).

Actually, PeterPeon, the +15 str to Weapons comes from the Thorium Brotherhood rep, and the +15 Agility to Weapons from the Timbermaw Furbolgs rep. Neither come from the Argent Dawn. The 2 enchanting ones that the AD gives you are for bracers. Healing +24, and mana regeneration +4 every 5 seconds.

I guess the Corruptor's Scourgestones would be a nice way of finding out the true drop chances for bossloot. After all, anyway can tell that the dropchances listed on Thott are WAY wrong. After all, Luci in MC is listed with about 60% chance to drop an epic. And I'm pretty sure he really drops 2 epics every time. meaning he has a 200% chance to drop an epic.

The reason for this is that if you're not the ML, and it's your turn to loot trash from a mob, and you're sending loot into to Thott, then you will send the info that no good loot dropped from that mob. Which will artificially reduce the listed drop chances on Thott.

I do believe that bosses in Scholo will always drop a Corruptor's Scourgestone (well, as long as the ML has the trinket, anyway). And so when they're listed on Thott as having a 40% chance to drop off a boss, that means you can multiply any drop chance off that boss with 2,5.
Of course this isn't entirely true either, since some times the ML will set the threshold to Rare, and sometimes he won't be wearing the trinket.

Also, if it's not true that these bosses always drop Corruptor's Scourgestones, then I'm entirely wrong, and you can disregard my ramblings :-P

No one seems to mention that you need AD rep for Naxxramas attunement...though no one really needs it anymore.

Note that if you don't wear the Argent Dawn Commission, you can't get it when you roll.

I was on my 42 pally in silithus today killing scourge and someone got it and we rolled and i got it... lol i donthave the commision yet.

There's a bug on classic, encountered it today, after getting ressed from dying within Scholomance, the game will not consider you as eligible for scourgestone even when you have your argent dawn trinket equipped.

To fix this, simply unequip and re-equip the argent dawn trinket.
