You have to kill the ravasours around the eggs on the ground, then the mates come out..

Actually you can just step on the eggs, perhaps jump on them in the hope they will crack, and then a Lar'korwi Mate challanges you. You can't do it twice at the same egg in a row.

They are event triggered when you walk over a clutch of eggs, but don't seem to train aggro (different species) when walking by other raptors.

There are more then 3 spots, they don't look like eggs, more like mini Dino turds.

Now that I think about it, I've passed by them a dozen times and just didn't realize it. For some reason, guess I'm use to it, I was looking for an empty spot of some kind that my mouse would change over.

But there are just little patches on the ground that look like camp fires really. You've seen them if you've done the first part of the quest.

Seems that the eggs at loc 62, 65 is the easiest to fight at. Not sure what the respawn rate is. Easy solo with 49 hunter.

It was pretty simple overall.

But I recommend make sure the area is clear before activating the mate, as she will trigger other raptors if she walks to close to them. The first time was okay, but the second time she brought an extra with her. Don't worry about coords either as there are tons of spots for the eggs just west of the quest giver.

Overall, pretty simple, good exp.

this quest was esy but i could only get the raptor to spawn @ 1 location (67,73). all the other eggs did nothing so i killed the raptor once, started grinding on them then came back and she spawned again.

Just stand on the purple egg groups in the raptor areas, and one of the females will come and run toward you. Kill her for the gland. 08JUL07

Okay I was also a bit confused here. Goto the egg locations which are listed above. (verified, they are correct)

Stand on the eggs, and the "Lar'korwi Mate" will appear, kill her, and get the glands. =]

if u have stealth, stealth over the eggs then move quickly to a save spot where you can fight him, you dont need to clear around it

Just go west a bit from the quest giver, you'll find egg piles middle of the raptors... clear the surroundings and run over them.

Then should one Lar'korwi Mate run towards you, kill it and loot.

Ok, this sorta messed me up because I didn't read it at first. You have to find little stacks of eggs on the ground and stand near them to get the Lar'korwi Mate's to spawn. You'll probably need to go to two seperate groups of eggs to get them both. -- When all else fails, read the instructions...
