3. If people can believe a wrong faith just as much as they believe a "right" one, who is to say that any are right?
My point exactly, who is to say that science is right in the end?Well, if it's likely that most if not all beliefs are wrong, what can we base our understanding on? Start with what we can see and hear and touch, go from there.

I see the bible, I hear the sermon and I touch the communion bread.
Can you see dinosaurs, hear the big bang, touch a star?
Matter of perspective.
You have to understand that I'm not saying that religion is right, what I'm saying is that it's up for each individual to believe whatever he or she wishes to, you have as much right to claim that science is the truth as much as any other person has to claim that their own religion is correct.

And if we think for ourselves, God will let us burn in hell for all eternity.
I have no idea where you pulled that one out of.If we don't agree with what <insert religion here> we will be subjected to <insert punishment here>.
Which in the case of the most common religion (at least of my region of the world), would be Hell.

Evolution and religion are both based on faith. There is no point in even attempting to argue which one is true and which one isn't, neither are truly provable. Until then, I still remain agnostic, which I see as the best way to live my life.

It sounded to me that all religious folks are blind believers, rather.
I don't think it's appropriate to associate Atheism with free thought, I'd like to think that I can think for myself.

Making god out to seem like a blood thirsty behemoth is fun too.

I'm going to divide this into two parts.

I thought you were saying "In a religion you have no free will or you will burn for all eternity in hell.

This sounds like atheism is the only thing that allows free thought.
At least in my interpretation.
I won't be surprised if you meant something else.

I think I covered all the bases here.
With that I bid you good night.
Final note: don't bash religion or science, it only serves as a flame-bait since you're challenging the other side to prove you wrong.
Do not use ideas such as "xxx is the absolute truth for everyone." if may be the truth for you, but it sure isn't the truth for someone else out there.

No, I was pointing towards the implausiblity of a God that will subject you to endless torment because something else made more sense to you and yet still claimed to be benevolent.
And no, it's not just Athiests that are subject to this, if Christians claim that their perfect loving god will put Buddhists in Hell because they didn't believe what he told them to, that is impossible as well.

Skreeran, you're a very ignorant person who really isn't showing any signs of having read and thought about anything Blademeld has said.
With that I will also bid you good night.

With that I will also bid you good night.Farewell. And I am not ignorant. I am stubborn. There is a difference. I refuse to change my beliefs without proof. You could say this is a bad thing. I say there are no such things as good things or bad things beyond the labels we put on them.

Stubborn and ignorant are very closely linked.
And given that you're basically saying Christianity condemns everyone else, I'd say you might just be both. That's the Chirsitanity that I was taught. It seems that most other christians I know believe the same thing. Christians go to heaven, everyone else goes to hell.

As a Christian I would take issue with the one who taught you. That's a 5-year-old's understanding of the religion, an absurd oversimplification meant to scare children into obedience when they're too young to make moral decisions on their own.
I believe in Jesus, but I don't think Wowhead is the place for evangelism. I believe in The Great Commission—I think God did intend for Christians to "make disciples of all men". But I also think we're long past the days when approaching someone and saying "Are you a Christian? Because if not, you're going to Hell" had a positive effect on anybody. If your goal is to make people become Christians, that's not the way to do it.
