Blizzard, How come you had to make it so that we can't queue for certain dungeons when we reach a certain level? I have a lot of dungeon quests to do, but can't queue for them because of this.
The reason I haven't been able to complete them is because the leader rushes through and doesn't wait to allow the others to get the stuff needed. One can get really lost when one doesn't know the place!
I say, if you know the dungeon and are the leader, have the patience and courtesy to WAIT for everyone else who might not know the place, to get their quests and the items for them!

You can hit the map button at any time while in an instance when it comes to quests. And you can go back to do the dungeons as well. There is also the queue for specific dungeons out there as well, if you do end up missing some of the quests on your first run through.

Chances are very good you will visit the same dungeon several times as you level, giving you many opportunities to complete your quest.

If you can't que for them, then you probably have out leveled them and those quest won't give you much or any xp at all.

I understand your problem very well regarding the rushing, Stizelswik. I have had very similar problems myself, and it's very frustrating, especially when you are a newcomer to a dungeon.
When I did Stormstout Brewery for the first time, I didn't have time to listen to any dialogue or read the dungeon-quests before people ran off starting to clear mobs. I tried my best to keep up, but I kept falling behind while trying to loot items for my quest. On the first boss, me and another party member got locked out of the boss fight because the rest of the group engaged before checking if everyone was present. The same thing happened again on the next boss, however, that time it was just me that got locked out.
While I don't expect people to wait for me to read quests or listen to NPCs, I do expect the group to have the time to see if everyone is ready before pulling a boss. If they don't, this whole "get things done as fast as possible"-thing has gone a bit too far.
So I absolutely agree with you when you say that people need to show more patience and courtesy in dungeons.

I do agree but I would also like to add that there's two sides to this. There's also pressure on the tank to get moving from people who assume that everybody's seen it lots already and are there for an efficient gear run.
In the end you've got to communicate and let people know that it's your first time in there, that you'll need quests and that you're interested in seeing the story line. If you were in a run that I was tanking I would generally be going as quick as I can but will always happily go slower to be sure that someone is getting what they need from the dungeon (be that quest items or just storyline and enjoyment).
Of course not everyone will pay attention to you if you simply state that this is what you're there for and some may ignore you but at least you've done your bit and let people know in a mature way. If they react immaturely then that's just the way things go sometimes.

Hi, I am the original Billy No Mates so I only do dungeons and raids through the finder. I am appalled at some groups who kick people willy nilly. Come on folks, we all had to learn at sometime. I am now quite adept at dungeons and raids (even though sometime my pc freezes and I get caught in the wrong place) and I always vote NO on kicks unless the person in question has been hanging back and just riding on our tails. So long as a player participates, what does it really matter if he gets killed a couple of times, so long as he hurries back to the action?

On your second or third trip through the dungeons you will be able to finish off anything you missed or you will not want to bother with it.
It has also been my experience that for normal dungeons there are several people who need quest items but that is over by the heroic runs.
