There are a great number of
changes and additions
in patch 3.3 that are definitely worth talking about!
Icecrown Changes
Besides the world changes you will see listed below, Icecrown receive a little overhaul to account for the progression of the story. There is a very intense blizzard raging in the zone, and players can see it as they edge closer to the outskirts of the zone. The Argent Tournament Grounds have gained a few watchtowers with cannons on the top. In addition the bosses from the Trial of the Crusader no longer appear in the grounds - the event is over, there is no need to spend resources on games. Instead, the Argent Crusade and the Knights of the Ebon Blade have launched an attack on the Icecrown Citadel - players can see tents and siege engines placed around the Citadel.
World Changes
Blizzard has made a lot of changes throughout the game world that have not yet been documented in patch notes. There are quite a few minor changes and additions that we would like to bring up, as to give our users a heads up as to what new and interesting developments are coming to the World of Warcraft!

Haste Affecting DoT/HoTs
Blizzard has plans to allow Haste rating to affect the speed of "ticks" for healing over time and damage over time spells. While they are not making this a straight change to all spells across the board, instead they have added glyphs for select spells which can be affected.

Kalu'ak Fishing Derby
The all-new Kalu’ak Fishing Derby, a test of fishing skill with a healthy dash of luck, has come to Northrend! Every Saturday beginning at 2 PM, players can try to catch the elusive Blacktip Shark.
Elder Clearwater sits in Dalaran for one hour awaiting the return of the quickest, most experienced fisher to bring him this shark. This champion fisher will be rewarded in-kind for returning with the first catch. Those who aren’t able to return with the first catch will still receive just reward for getting the Blacktip Shark to
Elder Clearwater
before he takes his leave.
It is said that these sharks’ favorite meal are the bite-sized
Pygmy Suckerfish
. Perhaps a hook in their waters will do the trick.

Arena Season 8
With most major content patches a new Arena Season is usually started on or sometime shortly afterwards and patch 3.3 is no different. Arena Season 8 will be launched sometime after 3.3 officially launches and will be aptly named
Wrathful Gladiator
.
Currently there has been no signs of the new Wrathful gear on the PTR but this could mean that there will be a minor content patch before the release of Season 8. The only other thing that is known is that the reward for being in the top rankings for Season 8 will be a
Wrathful Gladiator's Frost Wyrm
.

Achievements
As with every other major content patch, a big chunk of the new achievements are the ones related to the new instances - both dungeons and raid. A lot of popular references there (e.g. "I Feel Good" and "I'm on a Boat"). On top of that we see quite a few achievements being changed - and the changes suggest that the
Love is in the Air
event is going to receive a big revamp in 2010.
