I think something that should be added to this cooking guide is the lower level cooking additions due to Blood Elves (and presumably Draenei, though I haven't leveled one in a long time). These need to be included in a 1-300 Cooking TBC Guide, to make Cooking during the expansion/leveling said profession with a Blood Elf easier. If there is knowledge for the Draenei having similar recipes (Crunchy Spider Surprise is available on Bloodmyst Isle at Blood Watch), it would be great to hear from some Alliance players regarding those.

There is the recipe Lynx Steak available at Level 1 for Blood Elves in the starting area, which almost replaces Roasted Boar Meat and/or Charred Wolf Meat recipes for the Blood Elves.

Then there is Bat Bites (50) & Crunchy Spider Surprise (60) in Tranquillien, The Ghostlands, that allows you to level past 80 far more effectively than Boiled Clams (for longer I might add).

Hello everybody,
I came here because of having trouble to level cooking in TBCC above 275. I have now only 1 reciept that gives skill points: Grilled Squid. And this is already yellow. The hint of guide for Classic does not help, because Calandrath in Silithus doesn't offer any quest.
Does someone have another hint please?

This guide is pretty bad to be honest. It doesn't cover a bunch of the recipes. The Mag'har and Kurenai rep is needed for 4 and 5 recipes respectively. The rest are from vendors or trainers throughout Outland with Recipe: Buzzard Bites being from Smooth as Butter only. Recipe: Captain Rumsey's Lager is from the fishing daily, not the cooking one. Spicy Hot Talbuk, Stewed Trout, Hot Buttered Trout and Fisherman's Feast also require spices, not just Clam Bar like stated.
