Gold Making Tip: You may actually do better financially if you're just selling your leather by continuing to level your skinning between 300-325 or so in Classic zones, off mobs that can be skinned for Rugged Leather. Early on with skinning in Outland, you'll mostly be getting Knothide Leather Scraps, which may be considerably less lucrative than Rugged Leather. Check your auction house; with the variations in server economies, your mileage may vary.

Clefthoof tend to wander in open fields. There also may be occasional higher-level Clefthoof Bulls interspersed with Clefthoof spawn.

Talbuk tend to congregate near trees.

Wild Elekk (66) are spread out all over, and are thus not easy to target specifically because no more than a few seem to be up at any given time. They are most plentiful in the 64-65 area. You should always kill these when you see them, as they drop Pair of Ivory Tusks for More Heads Full of Ivory, a repeatable quest for gaining reputation with The Consortium up through Friendly. Even if you don't need the reputation yourself, they sell well on the Auction House.

Elementals tend to intersperse with the various skinnable mobs, and can be a great side hustle. They can drop valuable elemental Motes. Dust Howler air elementals in the 64-65 range area also drop Howling Wind, which starts a quest line out of the Throne of Elements.
