I would suggest 2 people for this. I did it alone but i am also well geared (naxx). Get a healer he hits for 1k+ on cloth & has 2 adds with him.

Did with 2 people, be sure to be close to him when he gets to 1%, otherwise it will not give you credit for the quest and you will have to repeat. Had to do it twice because of this.

This is another elite that is rather easy for warlocks (Though other classes can fear, chain fearing makes this quest trivial). His two adds do hit for hard on cloth though. I simply set my void to off-tank the two adds, and dotted Larry up and feared. The hardest part about this fight if you're soloing it this way was keeping my voidwalker up. This could possibly be easier if you had a Felguard, though I can't say for certain.

definitely easier for a fel guard warlock same survivablity as a VW plus all that extra dps but anything fearable is soloable for a warlock pretty much

Just solo'd as a 65 Frost/fire mage.
polymorph the elite, aoe the nonelites down, regen your mana while keeping the elite sheeped, then a simple matter of kiting (dont let him get near you at all, cause he hits hard)

this might be a tad helpful for you guys out there having problems burning him down. Whenever i'm helping someone, it's always good to know this-
Even when larry hasn't aggroed, you can attack his friends. I usually manage to kill them before larry finishes his countdown or shortly thereafter.
As soon as the confrontation starts, put some DPS into his friends!

Soloed with 66 BM hunter. Pet died once, but i freezed larry and ressed pet. Then kited him till died.

Solo'd him with a 70 BM Hunter. Kept one add trapped, killed the other first, then just kept hitting Larry and healing my cat. As soon as Larry dropped the 2nd add deaggroed.

Easy to solo as a 70 resto shaman. The Ruffians can be found in the lower side of Shattrath, between the Aldor Rise and the birdies.

At the start, Initiate aggro, plant a Stoneclaw totem together with a firenova totem. When the firenova totem is gone, pop your fire elemental out. Give it an earthshield and keep him up with lesser healing waves. No need to hit them all 3 first as he will give up at around 2%. Talk to him, get the followup, and move to nagrand :)

Soloed as 67 BM hunter on my third try, just do it like this, freeze the elite and nuke the other two fastly with aggro on your pet, when they're both dead cast mend pet and bandage yourself if you are hurt, then turn growl off and gain aggro (not your pet) and kite him, when he starts attacking your pet turn growl on and just keep mend pet on and kill him :). (i used 1 mana pot, had aspect of the hawk on, and used bestial wrath during the last step).

For frost mage this is rather easy fight,as he start to count just sheep other add and start nuke other add. just keep sheep up and keep him slowed and snared and be piece of cake to lvl65 mage

You can buy the useless neck item Soap-on-a-rope in Lower City, which was from Leisure Suit Larry 3, could be related, hence Dirty Larry

As a druid, I found if you root Larry and run away until his buddies reset, but before the root runs out, you can fight Larry alone. Simple enough after that, I just Bear formed, lacerate up to 5, mangles, then root before my health got low, heal, and keep him rooted when i was healing.

Unable to solo as a level 70 warrior, it's demeaning to be the only class that have an extremely difficult time soloing.
Warrior's can't solo, regardless of spec.

I've done it on my warlock as lvl 68 affliction build:

Summoned Succubus, used her to keep larry seduced while i killed the adds. after that i've placed corruption, siphon life, unstable afflicton and curse of exhaustion on him, CoEx so i had time to fear without him reaching me, then i just used chain fear in combination with DoTs+CoEx, simple.

Also, he hits for 1000+ on clothies, so make sure u kite him.

Tricky for a hunter. 66, Orc, full BM, Owl pet. Did this my first try, but more by luck than skill.

Started off as advised above, the instant you talk to Larry, send pet after an add, back up and start trying to kill it as quickly as possible. I was barely able to kill the first add b/f Larry came after me.

Intercepted Larry w/ pet, used Intimdation to pull his aggro, then focus fired the second add. But even w/ Mend Pet on, my pet was down to about 20% when the second add died, Larry killed pet shortly after.

From there, just kited Larry all the way around Lower City. Larry runs slightly faster than Aspect of the Cheetah, so kiting him required Concussive Shot almost whenever it was up.

It wasn't clear whether I had enough mana (including a pot) to have kited him long enough to kill him with just Conc Shot, autoshot, and an occasional Arcane Shot, but I could have kited him a long time. But fortunately a 70 NE hunter at the battleground queue pitched in and helped take him down.

As a 66 Beast Mastery Hunter, any time I tried to kite Larry, he would reset about 100 yards away from his starting point. I ended up having to double freezing trap him while I killed the other two, and then, since he hits far too hard for any pet at that level to tank, I bounced him between freezing traps within that limited 100 yard space. Trap, run to max range, conc shot and a few steady shots while he's on his way over into the next trap, repeat. This took about 5% of his HP each time, and every third trap it was necessary for the pet to tank him for about 5 seconds (which was almost enough to kill the pet) while the next trap cooled down.

soloed him as a druid. Keep him rooted and kill the 2 adds then wile hes roted run past him in cat form and get combo points. Put bleed on him heal up and bear for the rest.

Stay mounted when u talk to him when he counts to "3" fly up just a little bit, then he becomes neutral again, then fly back down and talk to him a second time and when he gets to "3" again, the previous adds he summoned with disappear, then all u have to do is take him on and as a lock all I did was dot and fear him till he died =)

FYI: I did this quest at 70 with a flying mount.

Easy as a hunter. Trap Larry and kill his 2 adds. Keep trapping Larry when your pet is low on health. Bandage your pet to save mana. Repeat until Larry is dead.

How to solo this as a lv64 affliction warlock:

1. let your voidwalker stand near the men and set it on aggressive
2. talk to Larry
3. cast howl of terror immediately when they turn red (instant cast helps)
4. fear "Dirty" Larry (while they are still running around)
5. send pet on one of the adds and cast dots on him, drain life, life tap etc. until dead
6. repeat with the other add, re-fear Larry if needed
7. attack Larry; keep him feared and dots on until out of health

Result: adds dead, quest done, you in almost full health (voidwalker possibly dead). Didn't need pots or anything, but you will probably need lots of +shadow damage.

easy soloed as 65 affliction lock.

feard the elite and succubus saduced 1 of the others. took down the 1st non elite then whent for the second. by now i was low on mana, feared the elite again and dark pact my succubus for all her mana then called forth an infernal to take out the main guy. keeping him dotted and feared while infernal beet the crap out of him. took 1 helth stone as he hits clothys prety hard.

Soloed as a 70 rogue. Found maybe a glitch, tried him 1st time with evasion up, didn't bother with his lackeys and got him down to 20% health. Had to vanish out to avoid death. Healthed up real quick and sapped one of his lackeys. When I started the quest again only he attacked, the unsapped one just stood there.

I died on this the first try, hes got a ton of HP on him, but i found a trick. when you start the quest he gives this big long speech, but just stands there neutral. While he's doing this you can unload on his 2 friends and he just keeps on talking. I had the adds dead before he even attacked me. Made it a heck of a lot easier.

Really easy as BM hunter. Just set a freeze trap before you start and chain trap him until the adds are down, then just use your pet to spank and tank. Pet did not even get below 50% health (and he is only 68).

Just solo'd this as a 67 well equipped Druid. Swipe until his adds go down, stun him - switch forms and roots him, heal, back to bear form and voila!
