Got the pattern off a Spirit guy (clerics) outside of the Black Temple while doing one of the quest chains in Shadowmoon valley.
Was going to keep them until some guy offered me basically his entire savings of 1182g for it.

Sold.

This pattern has been on the Elune AH virtually every week since I started checking about 2 months ago, never saw it for less than 700g. But wowecon.com lists the median price for Elune at 500g with a low of 250g. Two sellers each had it listed for 900g yesterday, one of which was higher a few days ago. I sent that seller an in-game mail offering 525g COD, and he sent it to me a couple hours later for 450g!

The seller's comment was "yeah, 900g was wishful thinking on my part." Nice to know there are some decent, reasonable folks about there when so many others are just plain greedy. My LW hunter has the nether and about half the other mats onhand, so after a couple days of farming she'll be wearing nice new gloves. She'll probably get +26AP on them too.

Dropped from a Mana Seeker in Netherstorm for me. Made my largely unfruitful night of farming motes worthwhile. Now I'm trying to decide if I should save it for my L22 alt mage, or sell it for about 500g. My main's still pretty broke from spending 900g on a flying mount & training, but then again, I'll always have G available for farming...

I got the recipe to drop in Heroic Hellfire Ramparts off of a trash mob. I also know of a guildie who got it to drop from an elite outside of Gruul's lair. This seems to be a world drop in outlands and sells for around 800g on the server Exodar.

Got one off Wyrmcolt Zealot in the Blade's Edge Mountains. A nice chunk of my epic flying mount fund right there.

Got one in Nagrand off the big White Clefthoof named Banthar, the mastery quest.. anyways, the drop was better then the reward.

- Dont multi-shot or cleave, last thing you want to do is have more friends chewing you.
