So this is one of the bones Bliz has thrown to Engineers...

It may seem unimpressive, but keep in mind that you need not be an engineer to use this contraption. Look closer and you will see it's true value -- inventory control when stockpiling! I don't know about you, but my Hunter has a nasty habit of running out of arrows. Quivers can never be big enough to handle how often I forget to pick up arrows >.<

Keep a couple of these stashed in the far recesses of your bags, and you'll always have a couple thousand extra arrows to tide you over until your next trip to town :)

Total materials required to make these is:
1 Primal Earth
4 Fel Iron Ore
8 Adamantite Ore
10 Simple Wood

It produces 1000 arrows if it does not explode, and can be used by characters with any profession (no engineering required)

I made 10 of these Adamantite Arrow Makers and used all the charges. None of them exploded, I'm guessing the "Sometimes explodes." is a reference to something.

All the materials for this can be bought by Dealer Najeeb in Stormspire sells both the Handful of Fel Iron Bolts and the Adamantite Frame. The Wood can be bought by a General Vendor

according to mmo-champion, mats requirement lowered to:

1 adamantite bar
4 simple wood
2 handful of fel iron bolts (1 fel iron bar = 1 bolt)

a lot cheaper to make now, still not ideal for day to day farming. back to the old days making bullets (swap for arrows) for raids, carrying 2 types of ammo around...

bullet version up now apparently - same mats with the exception of bullets requires 2 elemental blasting powder while arrows needs fel iron bolts, both have 5 charges (at least on wowhead display, unsure if PTR has 5 charges displayed again)

These arrows will be abit redundant since they're adding the new Mysterious Arrow with 46.5 dps requiring revered with Violet Eye.
These might still have value as to keep one in your inventory in case of emergencies.

Selling the Makers has been a challenge,,,put 4-6 makers on AH and no sell,,,break them open and sell stacks,, they sell like hotcakes. Auction House search tab for projectiles FTL.

Yeah, I can sell them. They average around 6-10g per arrow maker.

Mats required:
1 Adamantite Bar = 2 Adamantite Ore
2 Handfuls of Fel Iron Bolts = 2 Fel Iron Bar = 4 Fel Iron Ore
4 Simple Wood

Suggested AH price for Mats:

Adamantite Ore 1.5g

For 1 arrow maker it normally costs me 5g-6g on average

I suspect some of the trouble with selling these in the ah is that when browsing the auctions the tool tip doesn't indicate that it has 5 charges so it looks like it only makes 1 stack of 200 arrows.

I think I will start just extracting the arrows and selling them instead, but it seems kind of a shame to do that. 1000 arrows in 1 bag slot sounds pretty awesome.

I have both now, for the gun and bow, u can sell them for about 10-15gold a pop. not bad, use one, make money of the other. dmg is great also for these 43dps
Took me 3 days to farm for the gun one, and 45 mins for the bow

I learned how to make one of a drop in Netharstorm its a BOP so dont expect to see it in the AH anytime soon.

It has five charges that create 200 arrows.....so you get 1,000 arrows per box. So the mats aren't quite as steep as they first sound.

ive been buying these if they are cheap enough. i won't buy if they are over 1g 50s per 200 stack. they are +43 DPS (min lvl of 62 required) as well whch is better than what ive found to buy anywhere else. Best ive found for around my lvl (62 - 66) were from Cenarion Quartermaster in Zangarmash which are only +26 DPS. I want to find this schematic though because they are a biznatch to try and find in AH most of the time. Being the only arrow i want to use at this level they are in short order on Gorgonnash.
