Aldor offer a very slightly superior shoulder enchant for DPS.

Aldor also offers a decent staff at Revered, Bâton auchenaï. This is okay for starters, but Main-Hand/Off-Hand combinations are better at level 70.

Scryers offers one of the best rings, Chevalière de prophète, at Exalted, and a powerful trinket, Gemme de sang de clairvoyant at Revered, although you probably will not need its high Spell Hit due to getting so much of it from talents.

Scryers are usually the less popular faction, making their reputation turn-in items often cheaper than Aldor equivalents.

It is very odd this guide has an Aldor exalted enchant on shoulders and Scryer's exalted ring.

I'd personally go with the shield for the first BOJ item because of the lack of other crit spell shields and the insane 4,400 armor on it. While you can have other trinkets with similar effects and they don't affect your armor rating for questing and wpvp.

Couple things I see wrong

Talents and Totem = 12% hit, 16% is cap vs lvl 73 mob, so you need 4% to cap (if Horde). The gear you have chosen doesn't even hit cap.

You also have Spell Pen to cloak enchant, you should have the reduced threat enchant.
Spell Pen doesn't do anything for PVE. While mobs have 8 spell resist for ever level they are above you, this resistance cannot be reduced with spell pen, or curse of elements.

What if instead of going LW / Enchant you went LW / Tailor and used both the Spellstrike head and pants for the set bonus and the the T4 shoulders and hands for that set bonus? Would it be any better?

Please mention in the guide that the Chaperon de l'oubli is part of the warlock dungeon set Grande tenue de l'oubli.
Please don't roll need against a warlock on this item, only if you asked him/her before. Imagine how frustrating is when one of your set items finally drops, and someone with a different class gets it.

It's worth mentioning that the meta gem requires you to have 2 blue gems in your gear and there aren't any blue gems listed in the BIS gear list

Personally i think it would be worth mentioning the Malecific girdle, from terestian Illhoof, as it is a pretty decent option, before you acquire the netherstrike set:)
