New idea to incorporate flying pvp

I know everyone hates new ideas but, screw you, this is for people with open minds.
What I was thinking late last night was that instead of mounts being just free moving, visual programs, why not make mounts in general have a purpose. In Battlegrounds and open world, mounts could be made into the likeness of vehicles. Their own set of pet-like minor talents and attacks. I mean, i'm not gonna get into the idea in too much detail but even the concept of using mounts as vehicles isn't that far fetched for instances/raids either... but the general idea is to make flying and mounted combat a new dynamic to pvp. Shift + 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 for the mount attack bar, AWDS for movement of course, and space bar/shift + space bar for up and down vertically, etc don't have to be changed at all but mounted combat I think should be a part of the game since we were already promised flying combat since BC and still haven't seen it in the light of day. WotLK I thought was it for sure but blizz noobed out this time around as well, it'd be about time to finish it IMHO.
Make of it what you want but it can only be a step in the right direction, IF the developers really want to add more dynamic gameplay to Cataclysm. I don't think vehicle quests and flying-only quests cut it anymore for me at least. And i'm sure BG's are about as dry now as Mojave Desert... so times are good for a change.
