No, just take the weapon with the most DPS. You will switch between gun and bow really much before your lvl 70. ''and even have engineering '' Your talking about ammo here? Arrows don't cost much, it wouldn't be smart to only take a weaker weapon for saving a few silver.

I'm not saying you need to take another proffession, if you got the gold, Engineering is really nice.

Also it can be nice to already have some bow skill for later ;)
