Best heirloom pieces per class/spec

Is there a concise list of the best heirloom pieces for each class/spec? I tried a little bit of Wowhead searching, reading comments, and even a little Google search but almost everything I found was related to "But I wanna send it to my Horde/Alliance/another server!" crap. I've got too many alts to buy all the different pieces and want to try to share the fewest items possible between them all.
I'm not worried about the PvP pieces as much but if they're included it can't hurt. Thx to anyone that can find related info.

Sorry to sound rude but is'nt it obvious ?
If you can afford them, I guess you can easily figure that the 2h axe will be perfect for a warrior or a ret pally. : /

Don't forget that the plate shoulders turn into mail when mailed to a lowbie alt.
My ret pally has 4 heirloom items...2 trinkets, the 2H axe and the shoulders. She just hit 40 about 2 hours ago and they turned into plate.
If you have a mail wearer such as a shammy...the shoulders will be leather when they're under level 40.

Yeah, I guess I was getting bit overwhelmed with the
whole list
of BoA items but once I factored out all the ones with
resilience
, I had these lists of
armor
and
weapons
. The only questions I guess I still have are:
Best weapon per class? Each class can use anywhere from 3 to 6 of the weapons and I'm still not sure which is best for each class. I have 10 toons and only one 80 (druid) and want to have the best leveling weapon for each.
Best mail shoulders for hunter and shaman? There's the
Champion Herod's Shoulder
and
Mystical Pauldrons of Elements
. I'm assuming the Mystical for shaman and Champion for hunter, but just wanna make sure I'm right.
I will obviously also be picking up 2x
Discerning Eye of the Beast
and 2x
Swift Hand of Justice
. Eye for all mana users and Hand for the rest?
I want to end up getting the BiS for every toon I have and accumulated price isn't an issue since I'm able to run multiple heroics a day right now. Just wanting to make sure I make the right choices before I actually buy the items.
To make it easier for you guys I'll list a link to the weapons each class can technically use and the one that I think is the best for that class. You tell me if I'm right or wrong.

Filters and weight scales are your friend.
Best heirlooms for a:
Death Knight (Blood)
Druid (Restoration)
Mage (Frost)
Etc.
Just change the class and spec in the weight scale to the one you desire.
As others have said, pick up the shoulders first. Then I might recommend the trinkets.

For the fewest pieces just buy the cloth shoulder, 10% xp gain and any toon can wear it even if it doesnt benefit the class. Next in line would probably be the haste trinket as it can benefit pretty much any class/spec.

This I understand but I'm looking for BiS with no regard to cost.

To add another question to this: I plan on levelling a Druid next. I'm going to level him as main spec resto but at level 40 possibly buy Dual Spec balance. Would you recommend I get the
Dignified Headmaster's Charge
over the
Devout Aurastone Hammer
? Looking at the stats, to me both look as useful as the other for DPS/Healing.
Thanks.

I would just use the staff, since then you won't have to worry about the offhand. On another topic, why not level Balance then dual spec resto at 40, it will definately be quicker and your not likely to need to be resto until Outland instances.
I also wouldn't use any of the BoA weapons for a DK since they can't be runeforged, and you're likely to find easy upgrades.

Thanks for the advice - will I be able to heal instanes specced Balance then? Cheers.

Yeah, especially if you spec resto at level 40 using dual spec, you should be more than capable of healing the lower level instances, assuming appropriate level groups, as balance. It actually isn't until outland where healing as balance is actually a problem.
Hell, we(my guild, Rebels of Justice of Fenris(US)) had a prot pally that had to heal heroic instance at 70, but didn't want to pay for the respec, so you should be ok now that they have been nerfed slightly.

I remember the
Bow
having an issue with Hunters due to being a lvl 1 item interfering with an ability that scales with item levels (forgot which ability). Has this issue be fixed?
Edit: Also Scopes.. Scopes couldn't be applied due to item level. Has that been fixed as well?
