Wow authentication servers down?

I was playing, then rebooted to install some iTunes updates, now the Wow login screen is stuck at "Authenticating". Been that way for a good 10-15 minutes. Tried rebooting again, turning off the Windows Firewall, etc. I can still browse the internet, so I'm starting to think its not just me.

Anybody else having issues?

Edit: It just progressed to "Handshaking". I'm optimistic. :)

Edit: All seems ok now. Eventually signed me in. I think I was offline for about 30 minutes all up.

Yup. There's a 46 page thread in the official WoW forums that sprouted up just after 11pm EDT (that's 30 minutes ago from the time of this posting). It's effecting everyone, not just you.

It seems the WoW forums crashed, so I can't get you a link.

Yeah, authentication is down for now. Blizzard is aware of it and are suppose to be working on the problem....

I managed to get a link to the thread in question, but good luck connecting there. It seems like the forum's servers have crashed because of all the whiny people there.
