How did you get to 55+ without ever encountering any of those terms and asking about them? Sitting in a city watching trade chat will bring up a lot of those terms that you could have asked about.
That's if you have someone helpful to ask. I know I've seen it happen so many times on my server when a person asks a question and all he gets are smartass comments or "Z0mg u n00b lulz". It's really quite sad how many people would rather be a total a-hole than just shut up if they've got nothing good to say.
To the OP, wowhead forums are quite good. A quick google search brings up a few links, safest of which are links to official forums (like this one

). For class specific questions/discussions you can use wowhead Death Knight forums under Classes.
