I can't say worst T7.5 in the game since I wouldn't consider myself an expert on all the different classes and their gear selections.
However, compare
Paladin Tank Helm with
Warrior Tank Helm.
Same armor, same strength, same meta, same block value.
Paladin gets blue with +6 expertise, Warrior gets red with +12 stamina, so that's +2 expertise bonus on the side of the warrior (assuming you gem with 8 expertise and 12 stamina).
Paladin set has +8 defense rating.
Paladin has 35 expertise vs Warrior 35 hit. Expertise is twice as valuable as hit rating.
Pretty easy to see who has the better T7.5 helm. I'd love to take the Paladin helm over the Warrior helm.
Then again, I guess we have the counter to that on the gloves where we have the expertise and you have the hit.
Regardless, all of the pieces have a slot in your various armor sets. Like it or not, Tier gear is not the end all be all gear that you wear 5 out of 5 to the exclusion of all other pieces.
