For pre nax gear, would you take
Titansteel Shanker
over
Librarian's Paper Cutter
as offhand?
Its still 1000g for a
very
slight upgrade, ~0.28%.

What's going to be different?
You'll want a slow main-hand since instant poison will no longer favor fast weapons.

If combat, I saw a
decrease
in DPS with titansteel shanker as oppose to LPC as OH, but this is the 3.0.9 spreadsheet, so dunno bout 3.1

Kinda makes sense considering combat favors a slow/fast setup.

I used to dual-wield LPCs but my spreadsheet suggested I'd get a 0.73% increase in dps when using titansteel in my offhand.
So my advice would be to always refer to your spreadsheet.
If you apply DP on OH.. that would be the same.
However, a fast weapon would allow a Mut-raid-spec rogue to regen energy consistently(from focused attack). It leads to a better management of rotations.

after several naxx run now i have 2x WD and 2x SR....i will do some tests when 3.1 comes live.
dummies dont show your actual dps, but are very useful to see if there is an increase/decrease changing your gear.
anyway, i think the energy regen from fast weapons is really too good to pass.

might be not in 3.1
Blizzard is trying to make Mut-raid-spec not that energy-hungry...So, if the slower dagger has higher ilvl(like SR comparing to WD), slower would be a better choice.
Still, need to wait until 3.1 goes live.
