Ok, I've always loved feeding my enchanting with tailoring. It's been a good pair for so so so long now.
Sadly, as I've maxed out my enchanting, and keep looking at my tailoring...
...I don't make money off it. I don't use anything from it. The thread's aren't helping me that much....
What's the overall best replacement if money's not an issue?

What about inscribing, or would that really put the "money's no object" thing to the test?

no, the lightweave bolt doesn't share CD with anything else.

Do they plan on increase the proc rate on the Lightweave? I've done Patchwerk fights were it's only proced 5 times.
If not, would 1min 15secs of the bonus spell power likely outweight the huge SP gems from JCing?
Again, I know it's a bit of a stupid thing to worry about. It's just right now it feels tailoring's helping my dps about as much as fishing.

Seriously? Tailoring + Enchanting has a great money yield if used properly!
You can use your cloth to a make lvl 76 green belt (
Duskweave belt
) which can enchant for 5 dust and sometimes essences/shards. The amount of dust you can get from 4 belts = 100g. That's basically the trash cloth I pick up in 2 hours of Naxx! AND you're not doing anything that you wouldn't already be doing!
OR you can buy the cloth off the AH and make smaller profit margins, but still profits. Right now, on most servers the most stable commodity still remains to be the enchanting mats.

Tailoring is not very well suited for making money off of other people, however, you could make frostweave bags and I am sure those will sell well. Everyone needs bigger bags (that's what she said). Also, just the fact alone that you can DE some of the higher greens for infinite dust is a money maker right there.
I wouldn't give up on tailoring so quickly.
The money returns you get back from selling the dust from DEing the belts is far greater than you can get from USING dust to create Imbued bolts to create Frostweave bags... That will yield you lower profit. Frostweave bags are a money sink in comparison to selling straight enchanting mats. Always sell in stacks of 5 or 10, but never 20.
