Suggestion: Trade skill recipe color thresholds

I tried to look around for this feature (or a post about it), but I did not see it. If I missed it, I apologize.

I would love a feature (other than comments) that would tell you when a recipe changed colors. Some recipes start red and some start gray. Some have very wide ranges for certain colors and others very narrow. I am not sure if "color of trade skill" is something that can be data mined, so here is an alternate approach:

Anytime a recipe is used without being at full skill for that profession, it can record that as an attempt. Each time a skill point is gained from it (not sure about the feasibility of this either), that counts as a success. This could be transformed into either a table that maps skill level onto a percentage (successes/attempts) or these percentages can be quantized to certain watermarks (100% at 200, 75% at 205, etc...)

Thottbot has actually done this for a while. I'm not sure how they mined their data for it but I've been wanting to see it over here.

Ooh! Thanks for the tip! I agree. Something is not right with the world when Thottbot has something that Wowhead does not. How is that for a pledge of loyalty?
