Absolutely!
This is how I made the bulk of my gold when trying to get the epic flying mount.
I made some gold selling goods on the AH, but do ALL the quests in the Netherstorm. Once you're done with everything you can solo, move on to the group quests. You will have that epic flying mount in no time.

And we should expect nothing less from the zone with the largest Consortium presence. :)
But yes, previous posters are spot on. What's more, those two zones have so many quests that you probably won't even realize how quickly you're making money.
