Problem with my felguard?

So i just got my felguard :)....but when i have him out and unmount he has about half his health and mana. Now before i mounted he was at full health and mana. Is this normal, or is something wrong?

Don't mount up if your pet has less than 50% health and mana. Even if he has 100% health and 40% mana, when you unmount he will be at 50% health and 50% mana... Its annoying, but its what we live with >.<
Trust me though, if you make sure to regenerate him before you mount up, you will see this bug occurring much less often.
