I've been thinking about switching to combat maces for a while now. Everyone says is the new thing to do for raiding rogues and the main draw for me is that it looks like a high dps spec. Please correct me if I'm horribly, horribly mistaken. In any case, when I hit 70 I was planning on doing some PvP for the season 1 MH and OH and switching maces.
Any tips on the spec, or changes, are much appreciated.

Well not EVERYONE says its the new raiding spec, but that is what it seems most people are using.

I think you'll find the majority of raiding combat rogues are running combat swords, while combat maces is more represented by those focused on PVP.
