Opinions on gear please

Hey all,

Am a 70 Affiliction lock looking for some gear advice. I currently have the Frozen Shadoweave set and the rest of my gear is dungeon/quest blues and i am looking to gear up a bit.

I am about to start raiding Kara and I was thinking about going for the Spellstrike set but my question is is it worth it? Will easily replace the set with Kara items and have wasted quite a bit of money and time get the mats for Spellstrike? I have done some research and i think that the Spellstrike set should last me through Kara but i guess i wanted a bit of a second opinion... so what do you experts think?
