I think your idea may be good, but the most insane paladin spec iIfound was a pally-deathknight team where the holy paladin (i dislike him) specced deep retribution, for the vindication debuff and seals of wisdom. It was literallly impossible for this guy to run out of mana and he was dropping that debuff on me to boot.
