Actually he never thought like the rest: As far as Xadmas knew, the only way to bring back the original was to kill Seeker and himself....and he realized, he wanted to live more then he wanted to bring back the original. From there, with the corrupting influence of Seeker, he wanted to conquer the world and transform it into a home for them.....the help to Hyper was because of left overs from the original neither of them could break, and helping Zeke was because Xadmas liked Le, and even then, he was planning on using Zeke to get information at a later date.

What you seem to not get here is that there is no 'desire for a heart' pre-programmed into every nobody or anyting.....

Since the Nobodies use the Heartless as their own personal slaves well....or at least, the Emblem ones, guessing they don't care that much; they also think that only Kingdom Hearts will restore those feelings and not the Heartless.

You split in two.
One is the nobody; an emotionless shell. It is usually the smarter and more humanoid half.
The other is a heartless; a lot more freeform, they are the embodiment of emotion. You can be small, cute, and mindlessly cuddly like the shadow creep. Or, you can be like a darker version of yourself; ala Seeker.

Seeker is possibly what I could be without any inhibitions at all on my ambition, having no empathy for anyone, and willing to do everything that came to mind and act on it without a second thought. Xadmas is slightly the opposite: All of the intelligence, but too much sloth and gluttony added to him(he's lazy and likes to eat), as well as willing to follow around Seeker for the fun the Heartless can provide, and the challenge.
As for Adams the Unversed....don't know. But may be a good idea to bring them back and create the Sin Unversed I was thinking of....

But that also sort off falls under the Shadow Creep style.... but less 'cute and cuddly'
