Well this is interesting. Christopher Paolini has finished the last book of his Inheritance cycle. Taking into consideration the time it takes to translate it, another year or so to go.
And don't you glare at me. I have read the first three books way back so might as well see how the thing ends.

And yeah, they completely ffed up the movie. Just like with the Golden Compass, the movie for that book was bull!@#*.

Haven't seen the GC movie but read the book series on that. And yes, the Eragon movie can very well be thrown to the bin.
It is actually the fourth book that is coming. Releasing on 8th of November this year.

Not as bad but it definatly got mangled.
Hell, Iorik tore out his brother's heart and ate it last I checked. >.>
Wait which film did you say was not as bad? Cause the golden compass movie was terrible and you could tell they crammed everything because pauses were non-existent, one second it would be focused on one part of the book and then in a split second it would change to another.
But yeah, the Eragon movie was totally screwed up. And those evil dudes (can't remember their names or anything) died in the movie, but in the first book they did not die at all.
Edit: And did I say third book? I meant the fourth, though I can hardly remember anything from the books since I read them ages back and nowadays I pretty much don't do any reading anymore.
