I'm one of those weird players who not only like healing, I'm quite good at it.
I leveled my all time main char first to 80th, and specced her holy (paladin)
I leveled my second favorite char to 80th, and specced her resto (shaman)
I'm now leveling my priest, as shadow, my guild don't really need me as a healer (doing it now on the shaman, but there are other healers in the guild)
but I'm afraid I'll go holy at 80th, just cause I hate looking for group as a random, or worst yet, duel spec hit, what do you think priests will be expected to do with it?

Are you saying you DON'T want to go holy with your priest, so you can remain shadow?
If thats the case, then you will undoubtedly encounter people asking you to use your duel spec to heal. Simple way around this, spec PvE Shadow and PVP Disc/Shadow. Then, you will be treated as dps, and get invited to groups accordingly. If you are like me, I get so frustrated finding groups as dps you might just want to spec healing anyways, regardless of what duel spec does for group finding. Like, on my ret pally, I find 25 man raid groups easier then I find heroics... I'm, not exalted with one wrath faction on him, and he's in half 213 epics. Its kind of ridiculous.
If what you are saying is the other way around and you want to avoid speccing dps but are worried about your group flexibility... well, I'm not sure what to tell you.
