Valley Hyjal?

Looking at
this map
you can see a small spot to the right of the Horde Airship with the text "Life Elementals". Does anyone know what they are?

"Life" Elementals are probably the plant creatures we've been seeing since Vanilla; I mean, one of the prime eternal life farming places is the Plateau of Life in Wintergrasp, off the Plant Elementals up there.

How do you link somone's post?
Click the post time ago part of the post.
For example, if you see "1 hour ago" for that post. Click it and it gives you the link in the URL space. Just copy that link and use it.

One tradition of the orcs on Draenor was a ceremony for newborns of the clan. The infant's parents would stand in a body of water near the encampment with the entire clan observing from shore. The mother would hand the baby to the father, who then proclaims the child as his, through himself and his father, then presents the baby for the clan's blessings. The clan chieftain would then hold the baby and declare the infant under their protection, with the hope that they bring honor and glory to the clan. The chieftain's heir then gives a blessing. Finally the Elder Shaman asks the blessing of the elemental and wild spirits, and that the ancestors will watch over the newborn.
One particular facet of this ceremony is that in some clans, if the child appears sickly or frail, they will instead be drowned, very likely by the father. The common expression is that a person "should have been drowned at birth". This is likely the reason that the parents would stand in the water when presenting a newborn. The Blackrock clan and Bonechewer clan were noted for doing this without any qualms. The Frostwolf clan however, were known to have rejected such cruel practices.Hm, looks like Warrior Born is considered official cannon, as this has been added to the orc page for culture.

Heh yeah I suppose so... of course it was done by Golden, so not really a surprise there.

I just want to point out that having the right soundtrack while reading can be an amazing thing. I'm reading Tides of Darkness at the moment and I'm at the part depicting the Battle for Quel'Thalas. At the point where it starts describing the dragon riders swooping in, Black Fire Upon Us by Dethklok started playing on my iPod. When the gryphon rider got gobbled up by the first one to swoop down, the lyrics started: "Tonight we ride on clouds of fire," and I literally got goosebumps. I was completely drawn into the scene. I swear, for a split-second, I could feel the battle surging around me.
It was EPIC!

I read that book. Pretty good, you'll be seeing major characters from Warcraft in there.
Oh, and once you read the last sentence, spoken by Turalyon, enter Stormwind from the front gate and keep the sentence in mind.
