Here's my current desktop. It's based on the Battlecry image, but with the benefits of
this thread.
Very nice.

Hm, was considering... which race would be considered to be the most powerful magical wise on Azeroth?

Which type of magic were you referring to?

Over all; arcane/nature/light/shadow/fel.

Well, the winner overall would probably be the Draenei, since they have access to all of those schools.
But if we break it down into different types, I think it would be something like this:
Arcane: Probably the Blood/High Elves, maybe the Naga or the Draenei
Light: Draenei... with Humans coming in at a close second.
Nature: I would think either the Orcs/Tauren/Trolls or the Night Elves, probably the latter
Shadow: Humans and Orcs have always been the most powerful in this area.
Fel: Blood Elves... it runs in their veins...

Blue Dragons.
On another note: where is the Pit of Saron in Icecrown? I know it's instanced and everything, but I can fly to Utgarde and see portions of that outside. Same for The Occulus.
But the Pit of Saron, I've got no idea. I'd like to say it's the Saronite Mine to the south of the Shadow Vault, but the geography just dosn't seem to match.
Any ideas?

I personally think its secluded in the mountains bordering Icecrown Citadel.

Something I posted in
'Algalon vs. Arthas?
and just wondering if I missed anything?
Well that's the thing.... lorewise, and game play wise, the Lich King is a one trick pony: He kills you, and raises you from the dead, that's it. He's not a demon lord, able to teleport around and summon a literal endless stream of forces from the Nether to eat your face. He's not an Old God, able to take living beings and twist them into unrecognizable shapes and forms. He's not even an Aspect, with control over one of the central powers of existence.
At the most, he is a demi-god..... and we've seen lots of Demi-gods die in Warcraft. Yes, he controls a massive army of Undead... but there is a finite resource for him; you've seen it in Game, then send you to burn dead bodies so they can't be raised up against us. We see people with the plague willing to let themselves die, as long as someone is there to take them out right after. The Lich King isn't unbeatable, he's just a mortal shell, and well... I still think if a high ranking member of the Legion(Kil'jaeden or one of his commanders) got near him, they could snap their fingers and unravel all the magic that is inside of the armour, turning it and Frostmourne inert and useless.
But Algalon is a creature of the Titans; had he hit the reset switch, that would have been it, Azeroth, and all it's beings: Old Gods, Aspects, Demi-Gods and the rest, gone, kaput done with. Yes, He himself is not a titan... but he's on the same level of power like Loken, Hodir, Thorim and Freya, and they had been keeping an Old God imprisoned for years, till one of their kind fell to the corruption and turned on the others.

I think you've covered all bases.

The Lich King may be a "one-trick pony" but sometimes that's all you need. I think his "one trick" has been working out fairly well.
