that song is not only the reason I'm horde too, but also plays a large role for me to be a shaman also :P

this is also the reason I play orc as well.

warcraft has what has got to be the most unique incarnation of orcs.

unlike other Fantasy settings such as Dungeons&Dragons, or Lord of the Rings, or Migth & Magic, the orcs here are an honorable race.

they are not perfect, since after all on draenor they were decieved by Kil'jaeden, and their own greed and ambition became their undoing, but they guide themselves with honor.

even before the formation of the new horde several orcs where already honorable, such as eitrigg, or drek'tar.

as such orcs bound themselves to a strict code of conduct that they would never break.

for example, to respect the elder, never to fight with an unfair advantage (the best example I can quote is the duel of thrall vs garrosh on the comics, thrall restrained himself from using shamanism against garrohs, and faced him using physical prowess only)

it also helps the fact that they are a warrior culture, were both peasant and noble are trained in the military arts since childhood.

this is why it saddens me to see the desitions made by blizzard regarding the horde.

I think the moment I felt more proud to be horde was when I completed the long and epic quest-chain "Hero of the Mag'har" and redeemed garrosh's honor in Nagrand.

but on northrend, blizz has changed the horde too much, and further changes are in the horizon, changes that I don't like.

the broken front was one of such changes, it left a bad taste in my mouth to do that horrible quest, that goes against everything I believe as a horde, it's not the orc way to atack someone from behind, with such a dishonorable tactic and then to actually ask us to finish of the wounded who can't even fight back, that is not the horde way.

another change is thrall's unexplained passiveness, back on Vainilla and BC he was the most active racial leader on the entire game, heck on BC alone you interacted with thrall everywhere, he was the face of the horde all the time.

on nagrand, on old hillsbrad, on hyjal, but then came WOTLK, and suddenly all the spotlight goes to garrosh, to the point that thrall says almost nothing in the dalaran summit, he says almost nothign on the argent tournament, and now aparently won't even be present on the lich king's fall, even when all the important figures will b there.

on cata he's not gonna be even on orgrimmar.

I don't know what bug bit metzen but they are castrating my favorite character, and hero of the game. =( it's not fair.

plus they are sinking the horde into a state that I barely recognize, and this is NOT what I signed for.

It is annoying, and it would be better if you two did this on IRC where I can shut you both up if it devolves into insults. So basically i'm not pointing either of you out i'm asking both of you, could we either take it somewhere were more action can be taken if it /does/ turn into a worse argument.

dude, I never said a single insutl at all, darkton did, and he apologized later, so we both dropped the issue, it's a settled matter, and there is really no point in bring that up again.

also, don't say "both" when only 1 was doing the flaming and the ohter didn't responded back.

also on a related note, what's "IRC"?

and finnally, it's a little too late for the comment bro, as I said above, the matter is settled, and buried too.

my written english is average, but I really suck at speaking english, you would hardly understand what I say, so a chat channel is not really the best place for me to discuss anything.

heck on my guild I rarely talk on vent for the same reason.

(it has the advantage that all the girls on the guild-vent say I got a sexy accent xD)
