Also the pre-expansion event better be decent or I will
cry.
Cataclysm was a letdown, and Mists was just pitiful.
What do you think Hyper?
Mixed feelings. The 'death knight' experience leads me to believe it's not going to be as immediately relevant as TBC and LK were. Well, it's expected to move into a phased version of Draenor(from what they are saying) but even the TBC launch event only affected the Steppes, Gorge and Blasted Lands; it was just people kiting the big guy to Stormwind that was the disruption lol.
I'm looking forward to it though.

Um...because if we don't something about it, there is going to be the Iron Horde running over the face of Azeroth?
I just mean they need to show that there will be consequences beyond Age of Garroshalypse Draenor (like, as you say, the Iron Horde coming back through the Darker Portal). Otherwise I'd fail to see the reason why we don't just let Garrosh stay over there to stink up their timeline.

Because he built a new Dark Portal to invade Azeroth; it's really that simple.

I wonder how the ore in Draenor is going to work. Some sort of iron that turned into fel iron at the end of the world. Odd that fel iron is weaker.
Adamantite. I guess we can get Adamsm-nite?
Proto-Khorium?
Not sure how Blizzard is going to get this to work.

Adamsm
The corruption weakened the ore, there you go.

But fel tend to make things stronger and more evil.

Right up until they explode or fail miserably.

So why won't the same logic go for metals?
Post by
Adamsm
Well look at fel iron; it works for all of three levels then something better replaces it. It is the weakest of the Outland ore, so it would make sense the pure ore that the fel was created from would be stronger.
There, logic defined.

I see your logic, and I can agree to it.

I do dearly hope I can avoid every orc family reunion like the plague. Any more angsty Thrall whiny cry-cry feels sessions and I'm going to tear off the head of every Horde fanboy I can find, in one angry rampage of anger and neglect.

The Horde took a pretty big hit lore-wise, and now the Alliance is strong. What can the Horde do to get back to that level?
They can faction change to Alliance! ;)

Like I said earlier, I'll read it...but I have absolutely no hopes at all, considering the steady decline Golden's work has taken lately.

Don't blame the puppet.
Blame the puppeter.
Post by
Adamsm
Oh you can blame the puppeter...there were a lot of cringe worthy things written in both Twilight and Tides that came right from Golden.

The analogy kinda went above you this time bro'.
Puppet = Golden
Puppeteer = Blizzard.
That book was doomed for failure regardless of who wrote it.

I'm not amused by that joke >_< but....... being fair, it was just a harmless joke, and they did poked fun at the alliance in a previous blizzcon (the one were cataclysm was announced) when one fan in the Q&A asked them if they would ever come up with a slogan for the alliance that was as catchy as the horde's "Lok'tar Ogar, FOR THE HORDE". The response of one of the devs was: How about "Have mercy?"

Bah, tired today; but honestly, the worst things about the book was that she didn't seem to care about the established character personalities. She just tossed them aside for the stupid ass love story, completely destroying what character Kalec had. I believe that had Grubb or Stockpole been tapped instead, it could have been better.
And don't get me started on the 'stuff blowing up' in Theramore.../sigh So many commanders/generals pulled in and given no dialog or anything; just death.

Also, very pleased to see this since it means Wrath is not the special friend of Garrosh who takes him back in time.
Are we going to see Wrathion in the next expansion?
I love Wrathion! He did a ton of Mists of Pandaria, but he might take a break so he's not doing back-to-back legendary quests. But he might make a cameo.
