Interesting, Ozumat is called the 'Fiend of the Dark Below' and then there was that faceless boss, Erudax, 'The Duke of Below.'

It's probably Diablo related.

Ugh I hope not.

It's probably Diablo related.
Apparently not.
What you are looking at, is a teaser website for Diablo 3, it seems that the expansion for that game will be called "Reaper of Souls".
*scratching chin* Hmm Interesting.

The old gods where sealed in the deeps of the earth.
The dark below may refer to this..
And Ra-den says "But there is a yawning chasm of darkness beneath you mortals, vast, endless, and all consuming."
And then there is
Erudax
and
Ozumat
, the later is also not yet killed, and neptulon is a unfinished story.
Or it can refer to the legion if we go by the RPG.
The Dark Below is a place inhabited by demons, devils and infernal creatures, from where some sorcerers take their power directly and sometimes have a patron beast to foster their magic
Or it can be the void if we go by the second part of the RPG, as magic have a conection to the void, but magic has also ties with demons...

If I had to quess...I would say that N'Zoth, presumably in the Rift, would live in the Dark Below. Throughout Vashj'ir, his tendrils attacked almost everything. Ozumat, the naga and the faceless ones were presumably working for him.

And Alleria and Tyralion comes back in a old god expansion?
Would be funny as most assume it's a legion they return in.

Is it confirmed that they're coming back in the next expansion?

Hinted in the login screen, not confirmed.
And it is hinted with demons by wrathion and his rain of infernals on the legen quests.
But The queen has summoned demons before and she can end the old god x-pac with a legion invasion/ x-pac.

And the Dark Below is nothing at this point; it's a 'hoax' as it's just a form that someone took a pic of and released.

That's disappointing. Lore question:
Many demigods were killed during the War of the Ancients; now some of them have returned, Malorne, Aviana, Cenarius; but can they all return?
Post by
Adamsm
Um...yes? Since it's already been shown that they can?

Not entirely sure about this, but weren't they resurrected through the Emerald Dream?

The newest cinematic has me bouncing in my chair.
I AM SO READY FOR THIS.
You're telling me. As I said on my comment in the Siege of Orgrimmar raid, I've been waiting for this moment for
SIX YEARS
Yeah yeah, I know alliance players feel they may want garrosh dead more, but think about this, you've had to deal with that jerk for 1 expansion. Two if you wanna count cataclysm.
meanwhile we horde players have had to endure that diseased piece of rat rectum since TBC. And trust me he was no more charming back then than he is now.
I can only hope that the boss mechanics in SoO are not too punishing, because I plan to kill that sucker EVERY WEEK, from the day SoO goes live, to the day I stop playing the game. Soloing the place if I can once we're 2 expansions later.
Must say to blizzard: That has to be the most epic patch trailer they've ever done. Feels reminiscent of the Ulduar patch, which included a "lore moment" rather than just random clips of the raid. Except on this patch, there actually was a full blown fight, rather than the 2 hits exchanged between varian and garrosh in the ulduar patch.
I hope future patch trailers are like this.
In other news: Check this out
Fake? Real?
IF its real, then yes, the next expansion is a legion expansion, and the name of the patch would make sense as the legion always starts their thing with green fire raining from the heavens.
If its fake, then DAMN, mad kudos to whoever designed that, because it looks very authentic and professional.

I hope Taran Zhu survived....
There's a significant amount of audio clips of him in 5.4 so yeah, he lives.

I love Taran Zhu, he's too epic to kick the bucket because Garrosh put an axe in his chest. <3
As it is, he was unbelievably badass on his "What the hell hero" speech he gave to Jaina(Grrrr) and Lor'themar (yay) in 5.2 but his epic BURN of garrosh is a crowning moment of awesome on its own.
Garrosh: "Step aside pandaren, you confront forces beyond reckoning"
Tharan Zu: "Your father dabbled in powers beyond reckoning......... where is he now?"
OWNED!!!!!!!!!!!
