Dalaran is taking in blood elf ambassodors, thus destroying its Alliance image, despite not offically leaving.
Can I just say....Not all Blood Elves are Horde.
Technically, going by this logic, Varian is destroying Stormwind's Alliance image because Valeera lives there, right?

So basicly Varian is just confined to Stormwind, and is the Military leader at the same time?
And for the record, I never said he is the political leader.
He is confined to ruling Stormwind, yes. But, in a military situation, he is the closest thing to the Supreme Allied Commander.
By saying that Varian is at the top of the sociopolitical ladder, you effectively said that he is the political leader. I would accept it, if you would put him as the spokesperson for the Eastern Alliance, and appoint someone else as the spokesperson for the Western, like Jaina since she seems to be the one taking the reins in that situation.

However, I would not say that he is above the other leaders politically.
Why does everyone keep saying that?
Yes guys, Varian is the highest leader of the Alliance. This has been confirmed not once, but twice. At Blizzcon, and at his golden coin page. I even managed to get Delt to admit that he is the most note-worthy leader. Yes, the Alliance has no over-all leader, but there is a leader who stands above the rest.

The thing is, the Alliance does not have a pure political leader. The point in the Alliance is mutual aid, not to be dictated by one person in a different country.
I very much doubt the Night Elves, for example, would take kindly to being bossed around by King Chin.

You know guys, I would not be saying this if Blizzard did not already announce it.I'd really to see this, can you find a link for it? I just don't remember them saying that at Blizzcon.

So, Hivoltage, do you find my Alliance leadership chart creditable?
Edit: Adams, I said he is the leader, not political leader.
If you make some revisions to certain parts, I think it would be alright.
You have to clarify that Varian is the recognized military commander, but in the political spectrum, he does not lead the Alliance on his own.
You should also clarify that the Archbishop, Archdruid, and Elder Shaman are on the same level in political influence. If you can, you should also extend it even further down and go into the distinctions surrounding the races/classes/stations etc.

Fix'd
How about now?
You still need to clarify that Varian is not the sole political leader. There has to be someone there at the top with him.

and now part 2 of my story is out! read and rate pls.
it took me a while because I wrote part 2 and 3 at the same time, i'll post part 3 tomorrow since both are quite long and reading them both could be tiresome.
I hope you all like it.
and on topic, varian is not the warchief of the alliance.
nuff said.
nor is he the equivalent.
he can't order any race to do anything, he can ask, the other leaders can obey or refuse.
once they agree to lend their aid though, then yhea he serves as a sort of field comander, but as of yet I have never seen varian on the field issuing orders to the troops, as he's on stormwind taking care of his kingdom, that's why he has people like justin and bolvar and Wyrmbane to actually do the leading.
that's all.
peace.
out.

Hmm, so I've got a question, or more of a question for those reading this.
How much do you think patch 3.3 lore is going to change the current lore stream?

Time for a little Back-tracking but Good back-tracking:
1(and most important to many). There is a new Guardian of Trisfal, Med'an, son of Medivh and Garona. Issue 25 revealed who the death was... it was poor Agewynn, she has finally passed on, but her spirit lives on in her Grandson. So, if you see anyone, and I mean anyone, posting that garbage about Thrall becoming Guardian... please correct them heh.
2. The Garona controversy: Apparently, in the 3-4 months(comic time) since Varian had left Theramore, Valeera didn't have a chance to go home to tell him that Garona had been mind-controlled at the time she killed Llane, then later for the Peace summit in Theramore... but our plucky young Elf is on the way back to Stormwind, so the King of the Stormwind humans will finally learn the truth about that point in his life... and hopefully force him to rethink about his stance on orcs.
3. The New Council: Jaina Proudmoore, Maarad, Rohan, Rehgar Earthfury, Broll Bearmantle and Haamul Runetotem are the members... with Dalynnia Wrathscar dying during the final battle against Cho'gall and the Hammer within AQ. Also, Valeera is the enforcer of the council... which I must have missed heh.
4. Meryl Felstorm(once Winterstorm) and Garona are on the loose, hunting down the remaining Twilight Hammer Cultists... here's hoping we see them in Cata and can do quests for them.
5. Cho'gall.... it's unknown if he's dead or not, as the final panel just showed his body lying under rubble.
And now we wait till next month(Jan) for the Split comics to start up; Alliance and Horde.
