That literally means nothing, at all. And define "superhero", I would define a super hero as someone with super powers (like super magic powers) and who is also a hero. Thrall has super powers and is a hero, so that means he's a super hero. And any other heroes in warcraft with super powers.Logic isn't your strong point is it?
But he declared one faction as good, so that pretty much destroys your entire argument right there./head desk Joke Sold, it's a joke; same as the comments about Thrall being Superman, going to be the next Aspect of the Earth, going to be the next Guardian of Tirisfal. Learn to read deeper and stop acting like everything is true.
Seriously adamsm, you're grasping at straws here, he blatantly said in the interview that he wants the alliance to be defined as the lawful good white knight side who saves babies, no matter how hard you try, it's what he said, end of story. Just accept it and move on.
AND RIGHT AFTER THAT HE SAYS THE EXACT SAME ^&*!ING THING ABOUT THE HORDE!

/head desk I'm done, I'm finished, I'm getting a headache trying to argue logic against the brick wall that is you. Last time, as Metzen loves both factions, he would never seriously say that either said is any more good then other, but as logic is not your strong point(as seen in any thread you post in) you wouldn't care if he made a new post, told you straight it was a joke, you'd just drag this original one up again to justify whatever it is your are barking about.
In closing: My Alliance toons are not White Knights or anywhere close to whatever the hell you want to consider morally good, and that's the way they like it.

Not denying, we just see that, just like when he made the 'Thrall is like Superman' comment, it's meant to be a nice joke playing off the people who need the Alliance to be some kind of super pure good group.

So no, he's not joking but he's not taking the dark (whatever little there is) out of the Alliance - he's just talking about
Varian's view of it
and what it is supposed to stand for.
Ah; that explains it then. So it's not Metzen's view personally, it's Varian's....okay, then that I can buy.
