The reason why he wont tell anyone what metzen said is because he asked metzen if he should keep it secret and metzen said that he would "appreciate it if he did" which means metzen doesn't care too much about what he told red shirt guy getting leaked on the interwebs, red shirt guy is just being respectful by not telling.And you know..if he did reveal anything, Blizzard could sue him for it too. That being said, I still doubt RSG knows anything more then the rest of us do.
I dunno, I just don't think he would lie. We'll have to wait and see.
Dude anyone would lie to make their own celebrity keep going.

everybody lies, everybody. Some are good liars (you cant tell when they are doing so) others are terrible liars (its pretty obvious they are using deception) but everyone lies.
he was told NOTHING by metzen, he just wants more of his 15 min of fame.
We'll have to wait and see.
wait and see what? he said nothing that could be proven right or wrong, and the hint he gave was based on what metzen already said publicly on a stage.

heh, u think its bad here? u should see the forums at MMOchump and the official ones xD.
the ammount of QQ really is one for the records....... of course I've been taking the liberty of taking screenshots of the most absurd, outlandish, and plain simply STUPID complaints, because I have this project in my head of making a sort of mosaic, composed of all the QQ posts from wotlk, cata, MoP and whatever comes next.
Then, on the day wow is OFFICIALLY over (which could be well over 5 to 6 years from now) post that and say "well, looks like wow didn't died when they planned" or some other witty comment.

the sword was finally drawn from the stone......... and ended up being a pocket knife. What a piece of crap of DK tier 13 :S ya know, for all the waiting they gave us I was expecting something as awesome and unique as the paladin season 11 armor. Instead, we get something completely unimpressive and generic....... =/

Wait, so gold is evil in the Warcraft universe? Since most other series have the Gold dragons as either the most virtuous or pure good, or just the most powerful heh.

Wait, so gold is evil in the Warcraft universe? Since most other series have the Gold dragons as either the most virtuous or pure good, or just the most powerful heh.
agreed, on the elder scrolls, golden dragons (Like akatosh) were a sign of divinity, same goes for final fantasy, and SO MANY OTHER games.....
I dont get why they had to do that retcon, they could had just done an updated model for the chromatic dragon and still keep their original color..... ya know.....

Maybe Gyth really is a failed one instead of the only successful Chromatic till Chromatus....that said, even the 5 headed Aspect Killer has a gray body so.......
And the Gold Dragon of Final Fantasy was an evil bastard, as were the Gold Dragons of the Death Gate Cycle(pure Nightmare Fuel Incorporated); but the Dragonlance Golds were the second 'greatest' with only the Plats up higher heh.

If the new colour is a bright shining gold Rank, then most of the old ones may end up being failures; a lot of the whelps were as they didn't live long past hatching due to the way they were created, and Chromaggus is something of a failure as it's not overtly intelligent compared to the others; entirely possible that Gyth may not have lived past the drake age even if we hadn't of killed him.

also, there may be a hope spot yet, Zharym said that the Alleged tier 13 DK set, is actually the scraped version, and that the real deal is yet to come.........
lets hope they did better than this piece of poo-poo.

I have an idea that can justify the retcon.
What is the color that the Dragon Aspects turned to when they were truly united? Gold. Not just Gold though, beautiful glowing gold.
What is the Chromatic Dragonflight other than the union of the 5 dragonflights? So Gold kind of fits, I guess. They also glow non-stop now.
But they are created via different means.
There is a differnce between five aspects magically combining, and mixing the DNA of five species.
