I specially found funny how the slogan for the horde there was "Lok'tar Ogar" but the slogan for the alliance is "We'll keep trying!"

xD and then there's the actual text, like if you choose horde: "Choose to join the horde and you will be blessed with companions who are uglier than you"

ohh man, its sad that this thing wont make it live =(

also I like how the icon of the alliance and horde were modified to look more chinese-looking, and they look sweet.

see? at no point says THE HORDE destroys theramoore, it just says its destroyed, and the alliance gets angry and more driven than ever to have the war going on.

For all we know, the twilight hammer in a last bit of spreading chaos and mayhem could bomb theramoore, and the alliance, always eager to point fingers would say "the horde did it" and go with that.

We saw already how quick varian was to take the bait last time theramoore was attacked by the twilights.

I wound't be surprised if to provoke the horde, the twilight hammer also destroys another horde major town to also goad them into fighting the alliance.

This does makes me feel sad for Jaina, as my favorite warcraft 3 leading female, blizz keeps piling heap after heap of crap on her :S

Theramore to be destroyed by the Horde in 5.0?
It seems that Theramore will be destroyed by the Horde in the pre-Mists of Pandaria world events, the info was revealed to a couple of taiwanese websites attending a press event with Tom Chilton. Translation from Curll on ScrollsOfLore.

Yeah...coming from MMOChump.....not believing it till we see it. Since you know....they said that Pandaria was exposed because of the Cataclysm.

Yeah, like panda's being the playable class for the expansion named after them. Or them having the ability to join the alliance or horde.

Or you know...actually hearing it right out of the horses mouth while watching the panel about the expansion on Friday afternoon.

Also, rank... if the leaders (not just Varian, but EVERYONE) of the Alliance ramp up the war effort... who do you think destroyed Theramore? Deathwing?

come on, if it was deathwing who destroyed it, there's no way in hell they (by "they" I mean the alliance) would blame the horde for it, its kinda hard to miss a GIANT HUMONGOUS DRAGON COVERED IN ELEMENTIUM ARMOR. Besides, deathwing is never subtle in how he destroys stuff....... does the park ring any bells?

the twilight hammer however, more than everything else, WANT the world to end (heck, :P they remind me of those dumb QQrs who want wow to end as well :P) they dont care how it happens, as long as armaggedon actually comes, they'll squee and die with a big slasher grin in their faces.

Now that they see that deathwing is dead (remember that theramoore "supposedly" gets destroyed in the pre-pandaria world event, which canonically takes place AFTER deathwing's death, much like how halion, and the elemental invasion happened AFTER arthas bit the dust) and that their large forces are anihilated, their old god lieutenants casted back to the abyss, they'd want one last try to seed mayhem and chaos, one fool-proof way to make sure the war between the horde and alliance is NEVER over.

Considering how nihilistic they are, its not so crazy to think that they truly believe that if the horde and alliance keep fighting, not only they will kill each other, they will also ravage the world, and every living creature on it. And frankly, they aren't that wrong about that, just look at south barrens..........

so, since they are VERY good at infiltrating both factions, they could disguise themselves as horde soldiers and bomb theramoore, considering the horde HAS used nukes before (in stonetalon and hillsbrad) all they'd have to do is steal one of those bombs, use it on theramoore with clearly visible "horde" soldiers deploying it, and leave a few key survivors to tell the tale, and presto, instant war.

This is similar to what Anders did on Dragon Age 2, he WANTED a mage/templar war, he didn't wanted them reaching a compromise, or solving their differences, his reasons are far to many to list here, but the main gig is that he had 2 factions that were eager to go at each other's throats and so he gave them a gentle push...........

by nuking the grand cathedral of kirkwall and incinerating the grand cleric, and every other priestess in the area, as well as a significant part of hightown

thus, just about everyone in the general public was 100% sure mages did it (even when they were innocent) and templars were eager to purge the mages from Kirkwall, whereas mages had no choise but to fight fire with fire.

This is something that I can see happening in the game. but the horde actually invading and destroying theramoore? yeah, unless I directly hear someone from blizzard saying it I'm not buying it. Considering how tight jaina and thrall are, I dont see him EVER aproving of this, and considering he returns to the horde soon (tm) yeah, somehow I dont think he'd let this crap happen on his watch...........

unless........ :S this happens under garrosh's watch and its THIS event that causes him to go back in the first place, to reign the horde back into disciplined war by force if needed be.

That is actually scarily believable, that one of the main reasons for Thrall to return to the Horde would be his horror and disgust at his successor nuking Theramore.

However, if it is the Horde to lay waste to the island, then either, like Delt pointed out, all of a sudden Alliance war machine screws up royally in the Southern Barrens, after successfully standing against the Horde pretty much on the latter's ground, or the Horde sends infiltrators to destroy the city from within. I mean, blood elves can disguise themselves as high elves (not that I see blood elves agreeing to go on such a mission, mind you) and some of the less-decayed forsaken can pass for a human with some heavy mascara and cologne ~~and shades~~.
