This is just all around bad writting...
Hell, I would prefer an actual self-insertion over making a major character into you...

An interesting tought just occured to me while drinking my noon coffee :P
The current leader of the largest religion on the world of azeroth is Benedictus, and right now you can see him at the church of holy light, but after 4.3, he's dead, killed on the siege of Wyrmrest temple, so WHO is the most likely candidate for leading the church of holy light?
Will it even be human? or allow Dwarves an equal chance at it?

Is wrong I'm hoping for Velen to take over heh? But if not, then probably Rohan of the Dwarves, or one of the other many Bishops within Stormwind Cathedral.

Draenei are considered heretics, after all (in a good, non-violent way - more like, 'We respect your faith, but we do not share it in the slightest').
Me? I'm rooting for Turalyon, if he ever returns. His age probably won't allow him to be a military officer anymore, but he's proven himself to be a good leader.

Well since more then likely any Twilight Cultists that the Archbishop created while serving as the leader of the Church will probably leave with him(remember, this is Warcraft heh), they'll be picking up the pieces afterward, trying to sort out how to fill the empty spots. May even seen Anduin have a larger role in that...probably not, unless it's in a book, but one can always hope.

The more accurate question is "What happens to the church?"
I can see a lot of people abandoning the faith once they find out that their leader was also the leader of a nihilistic cult that wanted to bring the end of the world as we know it, or at least that's what would happen in real life.
When it comes to religion, people are very strict and scrutiny every last detail about the leadership, if the leadership is found wanting, so is the rest of the faith, so if the real pope on our world was found humping little boys, you can bet for sure that the catholic religion would experience a MASSIVE plummet of believers, even if it was just 1 man doing an evil deed.
In wow though........... I dunno.
Posible fixes they could do is cover it up, making benedictus seem like he genuely traveled to northrend to help kill deathwing and dieing a martyr's death and being dignified and glorified, "for the sake of the people" while those who know the truth will be sickened to their stomachs.
After all, its not like he's gonna be unmasked publicly like he was on the cataclysm beta, only a select few on northrend will see his betrayal first hand, so it CAN be covered up, and make him look like a holy martyr of the cause.

OHHH GOD THAT WOULD BE SO AWESOME! >.< Archbishop Anduin.......... T_T too bad he's too young for it to happen, plus I dont think he's an actual member of the church, nor has he taken any vows, or something.

He hasn't, but as seen in the leader story with Varian, he's still training with Velen so...And I don't see Anduin becoming the Archbishop unless Varian ends up taking a wife and have another kid; right now, Anduin is the heir of the Wrynn line after all, and, Warcraft wise at least, his royal duties will take preference over his own choice if something happens to Varian.

Anduin would make a good archbishop, but remember - he's the heir apparent to the throne of Stormwind. Unless Varian sires another son (NOT looking at you, Jaina), not going to happen.

aww >.< damn.
there goes that idea.
anyhow, does anyone knows if on the warmaster warhorn fight on Dragon Soul you HAVE to be in an alliance gunship? I mean, I've only seen 2 videos of it, but they've both been by alliance groups and so they are in an alliance gunship.
What worries me is that the only map released also shows an alliance gunship :S it would be very unfair to the horde for us to have to do that fight on an alliance gunship.
Cataclysm has NOT been nice to horde gunships all in all U_U 1 crashes on the gilnean starting zone, another in deepholm, another in the horde intro to twilight highlands, another is seen crashed and destroyed on Endtime, and now aparently, none will show up for the gunship battle of Dragon Soul.
It isn't fair >.< our ships are every bit as durable and powerful as those gnomish toys, I wanna see less of them being blow up, and more of them kicking ass.

Heh, oh no, not another Hammer vs Breaker discussion ^_^.
But considering there is a crashed gun ship in End of Time Rank, that may tell what happens; could get destroyed during the raid.

Score yourself a navigator who can steer the gunship while his guts are falling out of his stomach, and there'll be room for Horde Aerial Forces=P
Joking, obviously, just couldn't resist remembering that act of badassery.

Honestly Rank, it's not that the Hammers are badly designed; for what they are, they are good at straight forward assaults and useful as staging platforms, but they are still 'new' technology: We've only really seen them over the last few years being created and used and they are a far cry above what the very old Horde Zeppelin were during the Second War....but the balloon is still the most glaring weakness to them, even if they are toughened and strengthened to stop popping.
The Breakers though, are just the newest in the Dwarf/Gnome flying crafts that have existed for a very long time in the Warcraft universe; yes Gnomish tech has an issue like Goblin does, but with Dwarf mechanical know how behind it, they make them that much stronger. The Breakers are also designed to be a combination of scout ship, assault craft and mobile base, so they do seem to be built to last longer. There are also some references in the Breakers to the High Elf destroyers of the past, and those were the best ships on the sea at the time of the Second War, and they really haven't been beaten since.
