Eh it was fine; I actually preferred that over the idea of Drake just snapping and deciding to do it. Plus, the chip gave them a reason it looked so much like Mister J.
I still love that the 'censored' version of Joker's death is about a million times worse then the original one: Tim shoots him with one of the Bang Gun and he just get's speared.....cue the censors and suddenly he falls into a major puddle of water with live wires around him and you get to watch his shadow jerk, jitter and scream for almost 20 seconds before it stops moving....why was that scene censored again?
Terry's speech to the Joker was also awesome.

Speaking of Joker,
did he just straight up murder a guy?
Not that that's not something he'd do, just that I hadn't thought him quite capable of that in the animated series.

Joker (and batman himself) vary A LOT depending on the writer. For example, the joker on the animated show just does that creepy smile gas thingie, whereas the joker of the SUPER CAMPY (and disasterrific) 60's show "Batman" was a harmless exentric fellow with a clown motiff.
by contrast, the joker from the comics is a true demon out of a nightmare, capable of doing stuff that would chill your spine. Point in case, he shoots batgirl in the back and makes her a cripple just like that.
Ditto for batman, who depending on the writer may be just an emo guy with some seriuous OCD and angst, or a weirdo that behaves like a complete stiff (cough*addamwest*cough) to the actual badass I admire.
for those who haven't tried, the videogame "Batman:Arkham Asylum" does a WONDERFULL job of mixing the BEST aspects of the batman universe into what I consider the best mix.
It has the grittiness of the Christopher Nolan movies, the gothic architecture and film noir-ish mood of the Tim Burton films, the canon of the comics, the FANTASTIC talented voices and writing talent of the animated series... I just can't imagine a better incarnation of the batman universe anywhere else.
Batman himself on that game is based on the comic version, voiced by the same actor from the animated show, and wears the bodyarmor/glider cape from the christopher nolan movies.
I cant think of a superhero as badass as batman, since he has litteraly no powers, and still can hold his own next to OP superheroes like superman with no problems, also holding his ground with villians who HAVE superpowers much greater than him. If anything, the only other superhero that gets close to him IMO is the punisher, judge dredd (though this one can't be counted as a "hero" perse) and maaaybe spiderman.

It's hilarious really, you can show all the physical violence and electracution (and anything else you can think of) but the moment someone gets shot it becomes horrible! Take Mortal Kombat vs. DC for example; Joker's Fatality has him shooting a guy, but in the American version they have to censor it out by zooming in on joker when he does it, despite the fact that people's skeletons get ripped out in other finishers and they're not censored.
And my favorite Joker has always been the one from
The Batman
, especcialy when he's first introduced in Arkham:

Yeah, I've read a bit of comics Joker (mainly just
The Killing Joke
, and
Arkham Asylum: A Serious House on a Serious Earth
), and he's still my favorite villain ever. Only the Joker can get away with bludgeoning Robin to death with a crowbar and shooting and more or less sexually assaulting Batgirl (no, he didn't
rape
her, but he stripped her an took pictures to torture Comissioner Gordan). He's one case where I really think Batman has to break his "Thou Shalt Not Kill" code. To quote Jason Todd in Under the Red Hood (also a great movie, even if it's not the good ol' DCAU):

: You don't understand. I don't think you'd ever understood.
Jason Todd
: What? What, your moral code just won't allow for that? It's too hard to cross that line?
Batman
: No. God Almighty, no. It'd be too damned easy. All I've ever wanted to do is kill him. A day doesn't go by I don't think about subjecting him to every horrendous torture he's dealt out to others and them end him.

: Aw. So you do think about me.
Batman
: But if I do that, if I allow myself to go down into that place, I'll never come back.

By leaving him alive to inevitably escape, Batman is more or less an accomplice to every murder Joker commits. Batman wants to be able to live with himself, but if he really wanted
justice
he'd do what needed to be done to keep more people from suffering, even if it meant crossing his personal line.
But, of course, then Joker would be dead and all the fun would be over, so I can forgive him (and the writers... :P) for that.
By the way, while the Nolan movies are great, don't get me wrong, Bale does the most retarded Batman voice ever. It sounds like he's pinching his nose and gargling gravel. Kevin Conroy is my favorite actor for Batman, and it's a toss-up between Mark Hamill and Heath Ledger for my favorite Joker (Mark Hamill has, without a doubt, the better voice, but Heath Ledger's over-the-top acting and unnerving psychopathic portrayal of the Joker was top notch). I give them both credit, since they each played more-or-less a slightly different character. Hamill's Joker was an ironic sadist who loved killing through a contrast of comedy and tragedy. Ledger's Joker was a nihilistic Chessmaster out to prove a philosophic point. Both aspects of the greater Joker character, and I don't think you can really compare them side by side and ask "Who's better?"
Edit: Also, in regards to who's as badass as The Batman, that's a tough one. Iron Man is a billionaire playboy with charisma out the ass (and is a mutha^&*!ing
walking
flying tank), but he's just not as hardcore as Batman. Wolverine comes close. He fought in World War I, World War 2, and the Vietnam War, and has been in the CIA and
a %^&*ing Samurai
. Plus, he's Canadian.

I, myself, am curious as to how you determine the gender of a Voidwalker.
I'm not >.<
But I think changing the gender for all of the pets is going a little far, succubi and demonform I can understand, but everything else is simply crazy.
