The King of the humans
had said :Putress was the first strike. Many more will come. They(The Horde) were at war they(Camp Taurajo) had a reason to suspect but they(Camp Taurajo) didn't want to belive they(Camp Taurajo) were at risk.
Nonononononononono! There's no such thing. Varian is the king of
one
human kingdom. There is more than one.

Not really anymore =P Kul Tiras has vanished, Theramore has pretty much been annexed and Gilneas is Worgen now.
Also, the Stromgarde refugees might still be independent, but I think WoW classifies them as Stormwind.

In the book the Shattering, there is a NAP in effect. So the Wrathgate and Undercity had nothing to do with this.
The fact that Night Elves were slaughtered by orcs from the Twilight's Hammer (thought to be Horde) made the Alliance believe that the Horde violated the treaty, opening the way for their own offensive.
Alternatively, Garrosh launched offensives in both Stonetalon Mountains and Ashenvale, which would've violated the treaty even if he thought it was simple expansionism. The Alliance would perceive that as an act of war, leading to counter-attacks/invasions.
Ok so let me get this straight:
1.
Wrathate
:Bolvar and alot of Alliance troops are killed.Wrynn vows revenge and goes to Undercity.
2.
Battle for Undercity
:Wrynn goes to Undercity kills Putress and
says the Horde is a bunch of murdering theives and either Thrall disbands the Horde or he will.In effect declaring war on the Horde. Wrynn tries to attack Thrall or Sylvanas but is stop by Jaina Proudmoore and is teleported away.
3.
Secrets of Ulduar
:Jaina Proudmoore request aid from King Wrynn when Yogg-Saron has escaped its ancient prison in Ulduar and meets in the Violet Citadel. While Rhonin is speaking with King Varian Thrall and Garrosh Hellscream arrive at the citadel.Varian turns and sees Thrall and Garrosh demanding to know what they are doing there. Garrosh insults Varian and draws his weapons, and Varian does the same before Garrosh charges at him. After Rhonin breaks the fight up, he calls upon the Horde and Alliance to work together against the Old God. Varian points out that more men died from the Horde's treachery at the Wrathgate than from the Scourge, and refuses to ally with them. He withholds full Alliance support, telling Rhonin he is through working with the Horde, and telling Thrall and Garrosh that he hopes the death god takes them all, before promptly teleporting out with his men.
4.
NAP
: Wrynn signs a No Agresstion Pack with the Horde leaders that he has tryed to kill and has openly declared that he wants the death gods to kill and he has already declares war against once
(Really,REALLY?)
5.
The Night Elves
:The Night Elves are slaughtered by orcs from the Twilight's Hammer thus making the Alliance believe that the Horde violated the treaty.
6.
The War
:The Allaince declare war for a second time because of Horde agression.
So do I have the order of events correct?
P.S. sorry about the text wall

Yes, but don't blame us for the non-agression pact, that was in the Shattering.
Makes sense, though, if you think about it. It's not a real peace treaty as much as it is a cease-fire agreement, so that they didn't jump right into another costly war after the Northrend War. After Northrend, both the Alliance and Horde needed a breather. People had been evicted from their houses, people needed time to properly mourn their family members, economies needed to recover. A treaty made perfect sense from a logistical standpoint. They weren't ready for another war.

Baaaah, clearly Arthas dosnt' have a right foot! It obviously rotted off from the exposure to necromantic magic before he became the Lich King! His right boot was - quiet clearly - fused to his leg that that he could continue to walk.

Discussing lore is fun and useful to make you remember old storylines, but the best part of the forums will always be roleplaying and answering questions about concrete things.
Add in a slice of subjectivity, a cup of faction pride, a galon of personal preference, speak Knaak's name around certain people around here and you have
this
.
Question about Rise of the Lich King: did Dar'khan open every defense of Silvermoon or only the City's main gates?
I had a very similar discussion the other night! We came to the conclusion that Dar'khan destroyed, or made unfunctionable, one of the runestone monoliths in Eversong Woods so that the Scourge could advance, as the runestones acted as a protective barrier as well as a shroud for elven magic within the realm.

So, in case anyone's still wondering, according to Rise of the Lich King Dar'khan somehow deactivated the first Elfgate (by either doing it himself or lending Arthas the knowledge to do so) and then told his 'blessed lord' the secret locations that held the keys to the second Elfgate.
Aye. That's why all the elves were so pissed at him.

And the Koltira/Thassarian brotherhood started up at that time as well.
