too bad they didn't continued the whole "Ask a faction leader" thing, those were pretty funny.
I was laughing my ass off when I read the one about the bronzebeard brothers.

So... you think Algalon was sent to Azeroth by the Titans, or has been here all along?
I was under the impression that Algalon is just an AI program built into the planet itself (whatever databanks or mainframes or whatever that he would need would probably be contained in, and quite possibly beneath, Ulduar), rather than being an entity capable of interplanatary travel.

Algalon really reminds me of Silver Surfer if you think about it.
and BTW skree, as bubba brilliantly pointed out, Algalon (while an artificial construct made by the titans) isn't really living in azeroth, he was sent here by the titans when loken was slain. (wich explains the delay between loken's demise on patch 3.0.2, and algalon's actual arrival on 3.1.0, yup, a gameplay feature has an actual justification in lore)
of course he no longer trusts his own calculations, nor those of the titans, and while he gave us the repply code to signal that all is well, he is still scanning our world, to see exactly how is it that we lowly organics of flesh can survive....... when all odds and stadistics say we should had died ages ago.
Also, esentially we're lying to the titans, boy-o-boy let's hope they never return, I don't think they will take the whole deception pretty well, and considering how broken the world is....... if they ever returned for whatever reason, they would not hesitate to reoriginate the planet

Even though the Azerothians are the only ones who had been able to withstand the assault of the Burning Legion led by none other than Sargers not once and not even twice?

Well, it's quite possible that the Algalon "program" is in contact with millions of copies of itself across countless other worlds. That would explain how he says that he's seen all these other planets destroyed and remade.
I'm just thinking of him in terms of an artificial intelligence. He doesn't have a physical body. What we see would be some kind of projection, and his actual "body" would have to be contained in some kind of databank or mainframe that performed the calculations necessary for him to exist.
And unless the Titans shipped a few tons of computer equipment the Azeroth when we weren't looking, that would mean that all that physical hardware would have to already be present in the Ulduar complex.
The way I've always thought of it would be like this: Let's imagine Azeroth as one point, integrated with all sorts of Titan computers hooked up to it. Algalon and the Reorigination device in Uldum are built in failsafes to keep the Old Gods under control (possibly to prevent them from spreading). Loken and the Watchers are guarding one of them. Should Loken perish, then that prompts a software response that activates Algalon (think of him as an Antivirus program). Algalon scans for threats, and, if he finds them, he takes appropriate action. I think that, rather than the Titans actually coming down and activating the Reorigination device themselves, it seems more likely that they behave as an external server. So Algalon pings the server, requests permission to activate the device, and, should he get a response, he remotely activates the device.
I'm not a programmer, or even really that educated as a networker, but I do know a little bit about computers, and that kind of scenario seems a lot more likely than Algalon being physically sent to Azeroth, scanning it, and then telling the Titans to physically come to Azeroth to physically activate the device.

Weren't the pyramids at Uldum some kind of weapon of mass destruction? In that case there isn't a need for the Titans to come to Azeroth in order to re-originate, they can use the pyramids to wipe out all life on the world. After that they would need to start all over again which may need their physical presence on the planet.

I still see Algalon as more of a Watcher program; everywhere there is Titan relics, there might be one on the planet keeping watch. Technically, until Loken fell, the mortal races were 'harmless'; once the Keeper was gone, that was it, the world was suddenly a danger.

I'd imagine that there's just one per planet, but I agree.
I don't think that he was physically sent to Azeroth after Loken died.

Although, I think Azeroth is more deserving of an entry like "Dangerous as hell."

I suppose so...
There aren't many uncorrupted warlocks, but for the few that are, I don't believe there are any race restrictions on them.

Lore wise can a Half elf ( high elf/human parentage if it matters) be a uncorrupted warlock?
It would really depend from case to case. As a whole, I'd say that it's pretty much impossible to have a (partially) high elf warlock, simply because they would likely have consumed fel when the Sunwell was destroyed. Plus, you know, the ideological hatred of fel magic being engrained in remaining high elven society, because of what it did to the blood elves, fel blood elves and wretched. A half elf who consumed fel like a blood elf, however, is much more likely.
Additionally, all arcane magic is corrupting - fel is just the quickest and most corrupting form. Your character is likely to be exceedingly arrogant at the
least
because of that.
