It is lore, but I don't know about that. Jaina is quoted as the most powerful human Sorceress in Azeroth, but as for a general Mage, between the two, I don't really know. I personally would be more inclined to say Rhonin, simply because he's such an awfully written, overpowered character.

Rhonin is the current leader of Dalaran....but Khadgar is the strongest magi in the Azeroth existence when it comes to pure mortals(Med'an isn't technically a mortal any longer).

Probably referring to him being Guardian.

^ That, the Guardians are 'something' else, and always have been; from an 800 year old Aegwynn to the cosmic insanity wrapped up in a meat package that was Medivh; even the first Guardian was strange heh.

Not really. The Guardian is just an empowered mortal. They can be killed, and they only have their position temporarily.
If a mortal ascended to Guardianhood forever, I might be inclined to agree with you, but, IMO, becoming a Guardian makes you an immortal no more than becoming the Pope makes you divine (i.e. it doesn't). It's just a position; you're still a mortal even if you get benefits from the position.

/shrug Whatever; I still say mortal wise, Khadgar is the strongest of the magi, as Med'an is still another league compared to the rest of them with what he has inside of them.

Well yeah, I wouldn't compare the Guardian to other mortal mages. Special circumstances and all that.

Regarding the Dragonmaw orcs do we know why their skin color is grey/blackish? I skimmed through various articles on wowpedia but I couldn't find anything that explained why their skin pigmentation is what it is today? Does it have anything to do with their history with the dragonflights or is there another reason.

It may just be a mutation and variation among the skin color of orcs because of different mutations between the clans back on Draenor. Similar to the different skin colors of humans. Alternatively it is just to set them apart from the rest of the orcs.

"Rule of Cool" I supose, I mean to this day they haven't bothered to explain why the orcs who drank the blood of mannoroth have green skin, while the orcs who drank the blood of magtheridon have red skin, nor have they bothered to explain why the blackrock orc have their particular skin tone, or why if saurfang and eitrigg were former blackrocks do they have the same bright green skin as the rest of their non-blackrock kin.
now that I think about it, they never bothered to explain WHERE did the frost dwarves came from, or why is their skin blue, or where did the blue skinned vrykul came from, or WHY the female vrykul on the stormpeaks opose the lich king when the entire rest of their specie embraced him as a god.
there are a lot of plot holes and fridgelogics in this game, wich is why I miss the good'ol days when warcraft was a strategy game, and had no holes in the lore.

I always figured that the red skinned fel orcs were merely an advanced stage in the corruption of the orc race. It seemed likely, as after Grom and his guys got a second drink of Mannoroth's blood in WC3 their skinned turned red as well (although they were called "Chaos orcs," which I belive is just an earlier name).

Don't forget Rank, nearly all Orcs on Draenor, even those who didn't drink the Blood, ended up as green skins due to the Fel corruption that was seeped through most of the world by the end; that's why young Orcs are still being born with green skin even now, 30+ years later.
The Fel Orcs who drank the Blood of Mags did it multiple times; they kept drinking from the well, growing more and more corrupted, which is why they are dark red with spikes and other things sticking up off their bodies.
The black/grey skins of the Blackrock orcs are probably a reflection of where they have been living; under the mountain and in dirty homes/conditions.
As for the Dragonmaw....who knows; probably something about where they are or the like.
The Frostborn are just another version of the Iron Dwarves, and those who lived in the cold of the Peaks. As for the Vrykul; most of the 'blue' ones in Icecrown are suppose to be the 'perfect' versions, the ones who have underwent the ascension ceremony of the 'Gods'; IE the Val'kyr, and didn't fail and were corrupted into the Vargual.
WHY the female vrykul on the stormpeaks opose the lich king when the entire rest of their specie embraced him as a god.Because they all want to be the chosen wife of Thorim, and look down at those who strayed from the original ideals.

Siege of Stormwind Dag'rema was pretty damn bad too.
A20 & Aftermath Dag'rema's almost that strong, but it's important to note that A) she's had 20/38 years to grow in power since now and B) she's playing the role of a major villain, so I feel she has a bit more freedom to be powerful, since she's destined to be conquered.
