hey BTW, we've discussed how bad the fake-brit gilnean accents are. But what about the scottish accent used by the dwarves? or the jamaican accent used by the trolls? do those sound acurate? do they sound fake?
I doubt blizz would hire actual scottish/jamaicans to do their voices, but a good actor can fake an accent and do a good job at it, wereas a fail actor can try to fake an accent and sound obvioulsy fake.

All other voice actors sound good to me. Maybe Blizzard assumed that most people would spend their time in Worgen form instead of human, the accent, although still there, isn't as noticable with the growling overtone in that form.

War of the Ancients.
That trilogy is like the Genesis of wow lore (despite the HEAVY modifications made on it by the author).
after that one, Rise of the horde is a must-have, and Lord of the clans (though there are 2 other books between Rise of the Horde and Lord of the Clans, these are Tides of Darkness and The last Guardian)

What should be the first few books i should think to buy for Warcraft lore? In order of the story? or the 'better' ones?Depends on what you're interested in. If you play the Alliance, I'd recommend Arthas: Rise of the Lich King, Tides of Darkness, and Beyond the Dark Portal.
If you're more interested the Horde, I'd recommend Rise of the Horde and Lord of the Clans.
Read The Shattering last. There's a lot of stuff in that one that makes more sense after you've read the earlier books.
You're free to read the Knaak and DeCandido books, but DeCandido is terrible, from what I've heard (Haven't read them myself), and I didn't enjoy Knaak at all...

likely. He's not l33t enough to be a raidboss, but he could make a future instance boss on a future expantion.

Just read all the books, except for Cycle of Hatred, do yourself a favor on that one and just read the synopsis, it will save you from horrible writing.

I don't hate "everything" knaak writes, after all I did liked (sort of) War of the Ancients, but had to litteraly force myself to read day/night of the dragon, and simply wasn't able to endure the sunwell trilogy.
from what others told me, Stormrage isn't a shiny piece of literature either.
