Land once dry and cracked, torn asunder by elements and conflict. A bridge to a stranded port, formed by the realm of sorrow, built from the ashes of a camp once dutifully forgotten. The blood of the innocent, spilled by a crippling fear and the noblest of intentions, cries out for vengeance.
(The Barrens? Desolace?)
Sounds like the Barrens to me. Southern Barrens, more specifically.

Anyway, these seem tied to the capital cities. In order, Thunder Bluff (bridge to a stranded port, built from the ashes of a camp - Taurajo), Stormwind, Ironforge, Orgrimmar.
Mulgore was never a particularly dry and cracked land though, and I don't see how Thunder Bluff would be a port (though that part doesn't make sense to me at all)

Stupid and potentially subjective question to divert you from the whole ''me speaking of things I don't know since I don't play since last year'':
Malygos the Spellweaver versus Guardian of Tirisfal - who would win?
Guardian, considering Malygos is a corpse.
Heh, just kidding. I'd have to give this one Malygos: ancient dragonic lord of magic >
marysue
scrub
mortal empowered by human mages.

(The Barrens? Desolace?) Southern Barrens. While at first I was totally thinking innocent blood would be Mankrik's Wife, the camp once dutifully forgotten sounds like Camp Taurajo. Also, land
Once
dry and cracked, as in it's gone from barren to fertile.
The waters and the wind shall beat against a proud city bordered by the mountains and the sea. Once destroyed and once rebuilt, the kingdom shall again face utter ruin. Its sturdy walls shall tremble; its noble people shall flee in terror; and its winding streets shall become a place of savage battle.
(That one obviously is talking about Stormwind, though whether they are referring to the elemental invasion as the source of it's "utter ruin," or some future event, I can't say for sure.) Uuh... Personally, it's probably Deathwing making a couple of holes in the floor like on the loading screen.
In a roiling forge generations past, a single hammer was broken into three pieces. The first stayed where it lay, immovable as stone. The second dwelled in shadow, while the third embraced the skies. In time, each became a hammer all its own. Yet fate shall draw them back to where they first were sundered, and only time will tell if that which was broken can ever be reforged.
(The dwarves, obviously.)
Stone walls will crack; smoke will billow; and ash will rain from the sky. The city built upon the shared labor and loyalty of hand, hooves, and claws shall be threatened by flame... one intent on searing and severing the bonds that unite the outcasts of a world.
(I find this one particularly interesting, as it seem to be talking about the Horde.)
Orgrimmar. It just works to well with the hooves (claws?), and the fact that Garrosh is going ape%^&* on the troll's (severing their bonds). And there's some Guild Drama with the Tauren too.

Found another negative Alliance quest. :)
Diplomacy By Another Means
Edit: Also, I like
General Hawthorne's
flavor text:
"Any savage can win a war. The true hero aims not merely for victory on the battlefield, but to attain a lasting peace after the final arrow falls."

Jus' saying.
Yes, Fund, I'm quite aware that the Horde has many, many evil quests in Cataclysm. I'm trying to stave off the depression by finding unethical Alliance quests.

Did I mention that Camp Tauraho was not only burnt, but looted?
(I think were looking at this from a biased angle, not a good move.)I actually just finished those quests, and General Hawthorne is a stand-up guy. He let the civilians escape from the camp, and those looters are actually non-violent criminals conscripted from the Stockades who have broken ranks to loot. I was sent to beat up and arrest them.
Then General Hawthorne was assassinated by the Horde. I don't really blame them for that, but it doesn't really seem that Taurajo was a massacre to me.
Now Ambassador Gaines, on the other hand, he's a jerkhole. He publicly advocates genocide for the Horde and Quillboar.

The role has been tainted by Knaak.
....Da hell are you talking about? Knaak hasn't written anything for Med'an.....

You can't judge someone of something they hadn't done yet. You can't say that the Guardian role was ruined by Knaak as he had nothing to do with the creation of Med'an (as far as we know anyway).

It might already be posted, but 358 pages is daunting, even if you start at the end and work backwards.
Is there any kind of lore background on Goblin Shamen? I intend to make one largely because I'm curious about the lore for them. Goblin don't seem like the most "in touch with the elements". Unless you count being on fire...
