yhea, it's about time we had a color pic of Doomhammer.
=/ ohh how I wish there was a spin-off game of warcraft, (single-player preferably) were we get to see and do some of the most important parts in the lore, such as the war of the ancients (the ORIGINAL rhonin-less one) the killing of the shadow council, the death of med'ivh, even archimonde's defeat but not from the eyes of an all-sapient commander watching from above, rather from the eyes of a soldier on the ground.
the dramatic and horrible change that the orcish culture suffered on the "rise of the horde" book would make a fantastic spin-off game, were we control durotar or doomhammer (or both if played in co-op mode) as we see those events from a fresh perspective.
=/ but I guess the warcraft saga is forever chained to wow. Is unlikey that any warcraft related game is released (neither RTS; or any other genre)

100% this. (Reminds me of Warcraft Adventures though. I sort of want to play that game...

Seeing as WC1 and 2 were a bit "before my time" I'd love to see some kind of remake of at least the second game. (maybe in another format like you described)

I really cannot wait to level my Horde character in Cata (I should level him now, but I can't get money to him and the starting zone for Tauren is too big, I hate undead, I don't want to roll Blood Elf , and I've done Durotar too many times.)

Was an NPC named "Throne of the Tides teleporter" who did just as his name implied in the early beta days. The blood elf in the pink dress on the picture was also a teleporter and they're both gone now.

Looks like Deathwing just got an
extreme makeover
Old God style... Cho'gall isn't the only one. :-p
Wonder if his dragon form will go through some sort of transformation like that later on. During his raid encounter maybe?
(sorry for some pretty bad screenshots, but I think you can see what's going on at least...)

Didn't catch any dialogue on the screenies but after being wounded by Alextrasza, he just sprouts a bunch of tentacles on his back before escaping in dragon form... Bit of a WTF moment.

Maybe that was the Old God's healing the wounds that Alexstrasza inflicted on it. By the sound of the dialouge, she was utterly shocked by the fact he could still move. Clearly Deathwing had a bit of help to negate the damage the Dragon Queen inflicted upon him.

The dialogue you're speaking of is most likely from a later part of the chain where Deathwing was thought to be dead after another run in with "Alex". The dialogue for the one I linked was something like "Look what's become of you, Neltharion..." and then Deathwing started rambling about chaos and his masters before flying off.
Did the quest yesterday though and my memory isn't the best. :-/ Should have taken more screenies.
