Glowing hands, mana cost and tool tips aside.... the Paladin charger is not 'magical' beyond being redeemed from a Death Charger. They, like the other mounts, are just off somewhere doing something while the Adventures do things that doesn't require them. Dreadsteeds are actual demons, and from another planet after all, makes sense we drag them through the nether to serve as our personal mounts. Of course, you could say the Death Knight Steeds are similar, seeing as the actual quest for them involves you fighting in the 'shadow lands' to claim the horse's soul as your own personal steed.

actually, the death knight variant is slightly diferent.
you steal a living horse, then send it to the realm of shadows, where the dark riders kill it, and raise it as a death charger, then they bind it to the shadow realm.
you have to kill a rider, steal his death charger, and return to camp, where the stolen undead horse is attunned to your soul, and you can summon and send back the horse to the shadow realm.
of course, that doesn't explain why certain DK's don't send their horses back (maybe hinting that lorewise they aren't sent back, they remain on the physical plane)
these DK's are Darion (who's horse can be seen in the argent stand and ICC) Koltira (who's horse can be seen on agmar's hammer) the 3 riders of frost blood and unholy (who's horses can be seen next to them) and the Dark Chevaliers from Naxxramas, who when killed (or wounded enough) jump out of the horse, and we then have to fight both horse and rider.
so there it is =/ is unclear if death chargers are permanently bound to the physical azeroth when we steal them from the shadow realm, or if they are sent back to the shadows when we dismount.

Okay, this is most likely
olllddddddddddd
news, but I've been trying to avoid sites like MMO-Champ, wow.com and even the Cata forums here to try and keep spoilers for Cataclysm to a minimum. However, I need to vent something here. Apparently, Rommath is actually a Twilight Cultist. I know, what the
Eck
?
So, rather than a civil war engulfing Quel'thalas with the Royalists against the Blood Knights etc, they decide to make a bland decision. Rather than showing the nuances of both arguments, with undermining of the opposite 'side', they decide to make Rommath the bad guy, just in order to shove him under the carpet and make the blood elves even more of a pointless addition to the WarCraft lore. The split opinions among the Triumvirate and others could have made for something much more interesting than "the mage who taught everyone to suck off magic and changed sin'dorei society and biology is actually just a grunt for some evil dragon guy who he has no relation to."
I also know that they have done this with Benedictus as well, but I wouldn't class Benedictus as such a pivotal lore character as Rommath, although both will leave a massive power void when they are disposed of.

Don't forget that Garrosh' advisor (think he's a new guy though... Orc shaman) turns out to be Twilight as well.

It's in beta at the moment, part of the chain leading up to the Twilight Highlands. (the chain involving the infamous zepelin event)

So, according to the Lilian Voss article on Wowwiki, she was raised from birth as a weapon against the plague.
How can that be if the plague only sprang into existence 10 years or so ago? She can't be bloiting

Hmm, If I remember correctly, his father adopted her. So maybe he adopted her 10 or so years ago when she was already a kid, around 8 or 9 years old.

Either way she is way too OP for a recently turned ten year old undead girl or whatever age she actually is, I mean come on, oneshotting scarlet crusaders not even that long after her becoming undead with this random purple flame ability and them being able to do nothing to stop her?
Ugh, I really hope that either Blizz changes that character completely or has her killed brutally and left hanging from a tree burning while the scarlet crusade spit on her corpse and shoot it full of arrows.

Blizzard doesn't portray violence against children, so I don't think your wish will come true.

Erm, Lil' Timmy anyone?

Selling kittens in Stormwind doesn't seem very violent to me. :-P
Anyways. While I agree that Voss is a bit of a cliché character, she still adds a nice touch to the Tirisfal Glades... and that place needed it.

Didn't play you play WC3:RoC? There was another Lil' Timmy, at first he is captured by gnolls and is rescued by Arthas, then he is turned into a ghoul and killed by - surprise, surprise - Arthas. Also, there were some children in Strahnbrad, IIRC.
So, yeah.

I did play WC3... a lot actually. Didn't remember that one until you mentioned it though. :-p Since there's an NPC by the same name in the game these forums are mainly dedicated to you might want to add in some sort of hint.
It's a good point though, but then again there are children in WoW who got killed off-screen as well, like Pamela.Redpath. (that was the name, right?)

The child we can assume was Matthias Lehner, in
Arthas: Rise of the Lich King
springs to mind.
