Stop... Wildhammer Time.
Edit: Whoever wrote that forget an Element that makes up Azeroth... no mention of the Wilds, and he quoted the Thrall and Drek'thar discussion.

'cause there's nothing going on lore-wise. If you don't RP, there's no reason to visit here without new lore additions.
Pretty much. My characters kinda died away int he RP's and I'm too... shy... to add a new character and RP with somebody, especially with my schedule it makes me feel bad when I'm gone for the whole day and nobody can RP with the characters connected to me.

(Although that's mostly just because of the all day maintainance.)

I'm a bit disapointed with the new intros =/ I never liked that since vainilla, the intros were simple flyovers of the area with some narration.
I was hoping that cataclysm would actually show some videos. wrath-gate style, that show what the narrator is saying.
For example on the dwarven narration, rather than a flyover from ironforge to kharanos, it would had been cooler if they show Muradin turning into stone, Moira marching into ironforge with her clan, the council being established, ect ect.
also, don't jump to conclutions with the blood-elf and draenei areas, I say it's not over yet, the beta is far from over, I mean, Silithus still has no changes, yet it will have soon, ditto for winterspring.
they may either dissapoint us with zero changes for the draenei and blood elves, or surprise us at the last minute by adding changes to these zones.
I say it's not over till the fat lady sings. (and she hasn't sung* yet)
(PD: is Sung* the past tense for sing?)

(PD: is Sung* the past tense for sing?)Yes.
And I don't really mind the flyovers.

It is.
The intro are like they were before but with updated narration, nothing more. Although Blizzard have been adding more and more short cinematics to the game so they might show us things we hadn't seen through them.

They already stated the zones would not be put on their respective servers, nor would they receive flight inside them.
This does not bode well.
that doesn't mean they won't get updated, I get why they won't add them to the servers of Kalimdor and Eastern kingdoms, since after all they ARE part of the TBC expantion, and need to be kept separated to prevent players without the expantion from going there, that could also justify the lack of flight there, but nothing prevents them from changing the zones considerably.
I mean, the only starting zone that remains pretty much the same is the Scarlet Enclave, at best the only change we may see is that all the random ebon knight NPC's in the enclave belong to all 10 races of the game, but we may see several Worgen and Goblin DK NPC's there, other than that, the zone "should" remain 100% identical.
but I see no reason to leave the draenei zone identical, since their starting zone revolves with them being new-comers to azeroth, something that is no longer the case in cataclysm.
and the blood-elf zone also deals with a lot of stuff that no longer is aplicable in cataclysm (such as their bonding with the forsaken in tranquillien and their inclution to the horde), so, yhea I'm still hoping that the so-wanted change happens.
though I am disapointed that i won't be able to fly in silvermoon U_U it's my favorite city in the game (even if it's a ghost town) and I always dreamt of flying over the court of the sun, even see the sun palace from above.
ohh well =/

Just means you'll have to hit the portal/boat to get back to the 'real' world heh.

acording to sigmafel, is not like you can't "fly into" the belf and draenei zones, is more like the belf and draenei zones don't have flight inside of them, making you glued to the ground.
I haven't seen a blue post confirming that, so I hope it's either just a rumor, or a missinterpreted blue, cuz I like your interpretation much better xD.
I don't care if I have to take a portal to eversong woods (since I live in the ebon hold anyways and can allways get there fast) but I want to be able to fly in silvermoon, and see the glorious Court of the Sun from the sky, maybe even land Raorzhen (my onyx netherdrake) into the Sun Spire.

I hope they allow flying and there were invisible walls preventing you for leaving the zones.
I could see Blizzard adding the Blood elf-Draenei staring zones into the Azeroth server. Maybe not now, but if they make the post-cataclysm world available to all accounts and not only to the ones that update to Cataclysm I don't see why they wouldn't add the zones into Azeroth.

but if they make the post-cataclysm world available to all accounts and not only to the ones that update to Cataclysm I don't see why they wouldn't add the zones into Azeroth.Because they, like flying itself, need the BC client to even access them. Without that, you see nothing heh; and even if they added Bloodmyst and Azuremyst into the Kalimdor server, just like Teldrassil, your never actually flying from there to the mainland.... well, not without dying horribly to the Fatigue zones.
