Eh, he looks better than Garrosh...
And who knows, this is Shaman Thrall, going and doing Shaman things with the Earthen Ring for Cataclysm. When he comes back as Warchief, it's entirely possible that they'll give him a second Warchief model.
As for how old he looks, you could always chalk that up to how much more horrible things Thrall has seen over his lifetime, way more than Garrosh. If there's a 10-year gap to Cataclysm (which I'm still not sure of), Thrall would be in his forties, and although Garrosh would be too, Thrall has been through a lot more in his lifetime than Garrosh has, and that would surely wear on him.
Besides, one must remember that Grom was as old as Doomhammer when Thrall found him, but Grom still had black hair and looked relatively young, while Doomhammer and Eitrigg and other orcs of the same age have grey hair and look old.
All in all, I'm not a big fan of the model, but it's better than Malfurion or Garrosh, and I can deal with it until Thrall comes back as Warchief. If they have him come back and still have him using the "close to earth, shaman look" I'll be annoyed. But at the moment, Thrall is just a really powerful Shaman.
It's also possible that he was stripped of the Doomhammer and plate armor by the Alliance when the captured him. Who knows?

Skree, if it's 10 years after WotLK, which I also doubt, Jaina would be in her late thirties or fourties as well, yet her model still looks like she's in her youth. If not, Thrall should be around thirty two or thirty three-ish by now, and I thought that was Drek'thar at first. -.-

Thrall have been using a robe instead of Doomhammer's armor since the start of Cataclysm. It was very obvious he won't be using the black armor during this time. Obviously, when he returns to his duties as Warchief he will wear the Warchief armor again.

It's only 3 years between Cata and Wrath; the NPC was making a comment about the Battle for Mt Hyjal not the re-opening of the Dark Portal.

Which makes his premature aging even more ridiculous/unnecessary. ;)

Something that bugs me about the new model of Thrall is the space between the nose and the mouth.

Really? I mean, I think Thrall's model would fit the first Battle of Mt. Hyjal and almost/more than 10 years have been since that.
With those wrinkles? O.o According to the
timeline
, considering that Thrall was born 2 years ADP - he would have been 23 at Hyjal. By Cata, he'd only be about 33-34 at the oldest, if there's 3 years between WotLK and Cata. For a low-mid thirties, that looks far too old.

So about the new KYL over at wow.com (I'll let Adam link to it since he's been on a roll lately).
I get the feeling that noone really wants to connect the Light with An'she? Or have I completely missed the point?

I don't think stress exists in the warcraft universe.
Otherwise, half of the population would die of a heart attack after the fifth global threat in the same year.
yhea, Jaina has as much bagagge as Thrall as far as stress goes, she has her own nation to rule, in a land surrounded by hostile forces, with almost no friendly base nearby, on top of that she has to baby-sit VARIAN out of all people, and watch as he and garrosh undo everything she and thrall have acomplished in the past 4 years.
add to that the fact that coming the cataclysm, the horde situation keeps getting worst as both the alliance led by varian and the horde led by garrosh have pull the gloves off and are in an all-out full blown war, despite the fact that she keep insisting to both sides that they must unite to win.
the ammount of stress she's been under is enough to make her look older than my grandma, and yet she has zero wrinkles or even gray hair.

Jaina though, is also a mage; which more then likely lets them hold off the ravages of age. Look at Khadgar; physically he's in his 70's(if not older, they never say just how much of his life Medivh attempted to steal), but he always acted his 'true' age of the mid-20's.

:P a better example could had been aegwynn who look dashingly young despite the fact that she could had been the same age as Greatmother Geya (perhaps even older)
