Reading the comments in that thread. Ahh, back when this board was still a little baby.

I love Sylvanas's dialogue:
"This man-child, Arthas..."

Is there any info on the names for the Old Gods in Twilight Highlands and Stonetalon (area)? I read someone call the one in Twilight Highlands Isorath but have found nothing to support it. Also I know the servant in Dark Shore is Soggoth but what about the one in Twilight Highlands? I read on wowwiki about how the sword ended up in Soggoth but it seems odd if the same thing happened twice. Any thoughts on that?

I love Sylvanas's dialogue:
Same. "Where is that Ogre-headed buffoon? Ah, speak of the devil..." :D

Let's face it - Garrosh is climbing up respect-ladder. And I am certainly on his side in these particular situations.

He seems to have had
this
, to be honest.
But surely you cannot think that those children were born into innocence? They would have grown up and taken arms against us!
I sent you to Stonetalon Mountains with an army. Your orders were to secure this land for the Horde. Instead, you laid waste to the land. Murdered innocents, children even...
Definitely a HeelFaceTurn.

Blizzard said it was coming for him.... just proves, despite what certain nay-sayers were saying; Garrosh did learn from what Saurfang was telling him.

I can already sense Saurfang's awesomeness jokes coming...

I also think that Blizzard need to show the more war-like side of the Night elven culture. They have already shown as a lot of the more in touch with nature side, the druidic side. But the Sentinels are an important organization of the Night elves and they are not so "peaceful" as the druids. I really think that now, with Orcs pushing into their territory, the elves will show there warrior side.

Lord Godfrey is later raised as a Forsaken himself by the val'kyr. Once he is returned to "life", he leads the attack against Pyrewood Village, where Lord Darius Crowley and other survivors of Gilneas have settled. He kidnaps Crowley's daughter Lorna and holds her for ransom, hoping to force a ceasefire between the Gilneas Liberation Front and the Forsaken. When Sylvanas Windrunner arrives after the attack on Pyrewood, Godfrey betrays her, shooting and killing the Banshee Queen (who is shortly afterward resurrected by the val'kyr). Now wanted by both the Alliance and the Horde, Godfrey makes a run for nearby Shadowfang Keep. It's unsourced for now, but according to
here
and
here
it seems legit.
So what do you think will happen if Sylvanas is re-rezzed? Same as before? Could the Val'kyr have tainted her with Scourginess?
Hell, maybe that explains why she makes such a drastic left turn into evilness.
Who knows, but this is !@#$ing fascinating.

What I want to know is what it is that turns the new Forsaken to Sylvanas' cause and why Lord Godfrey seems unaffected by this.

Can't really be used to explain her 'drastic left turn into evilness' as you put it ( which I disagree with, well atleast the drastic part) because this happens after Andorhal I believe.

as I understand it
, is a level 10-20 zone, while
Western Plaguelands is 40-45
.
And I still think it's pretty drastic.
Sylvanas is going from sympathetic antihero to Saturday Morning Cartoon Villain
.
Although, I suppose there is a little reasoning behind it...
"The people who called this land their home in life, do so in death as well. But the Alliane does not recognize our rights. They claim this land as their own, while attempting to invalidate the claims of the founders of this kingdom. I will
never
allow it. Never! Lordaeron belongs to the Forsaken. Always and for ever."
But that still doesn't make up for the continued production of the plague, her killing Liam Greymane (not to mention the hundreds or thousands of other Gilneans that the Forsaken kill), and her treatment of Koltira.
I'd feel better about all this even if with the flimsy lampshad of her being changed by a second resurrection. It wouldn't handle her whole thing with the Blight, but it's better than the lousy motive decay she has now.
