Eh, it just seems.... like an ass pull; hey look, the human corpses that make up the Forsaken are just like the Vrykul and we can do the super special spell on them too... they better have some Vargul Forsaken as well, otherwise it's just one massive hole.
As for Sylvanas.... meh, not raising my dislike of her again here heh, the General thread has it all through here.

it's very stupid from blizzard to pull this off, because all lore avaliable for the forsaken specifically states that they HATE the mindless undead, wich is why they've never used necromancy to bolster their ranks before.
a common undead, is a flesh construct bound to the will of the necromancer who reanimated them, and as such they are mindless beasts. Forsaken HATE with a zeal those undeads who lack a will of their own. Much like the Sapient worgen HATE their feral wild counterparts.
it seems to me that they have no further use for sylvannas, and as such wanna recicle her into a plastic cartoonish villianess with no style whatsoever, wich of course sucks, as Sylvannas was quite a great character back in Warcraft 3 (a true warcraft replica of Sarah Kerrigan) now she's at best a female undead version of shantotto that laughs like
this.
what a shame.

No, no... The undead that they raise have minds, free minds, and are, for all intents and purposes, brand new Forsaken.
As for Sylvanas' reasoning, I wrote up a whole big thread about that.

Lady Sylvanas Windrunner: With the aid of the val'kyr, we are now able to take the corpses of the fallen and create new Forsaken.
Lady Sylvanas Windrunner: Agatha, show the Warchief!
*The Val'kyr Agatha proceeds to resurrect fallen corpses as Undead*
High Warlord Cromush: ABERRATION!
Garrosh Hellscream: What you have done here, Sylvanas... it goes against the laws of nature. Disgusting is the only word I have to describe it.Was even in red text lol. But, seeing as the Vyrkul end up as Vargul 20% of the time, I was just wondering if the Forsaken would as well.... and if they don't it seems stupid.

Where does it say that the corpses of the fallen are Vrykul?
There not.hey look, the human corpses that make up the Forsaken are just like the Vrykul and we can do the super special spell on them too... they better have some Vargul Forsaken as well, otherwise it's just one massive hole.I didn't say they were rising Vrykul lol, I was making a sarcastic comment about how the human corpses just happen to be like Vrykul and can be raised up by Val'kyr magic.

Eh, it's just a stupid thing... nearly all the Forsaken lamented about being resurrected... then suddenly Sylvanas starts mass resurrecting new groups, using the Heralds of the Lich King...... seriously, it's like Blizzard is trying to fragment the Forsaken race into two groups.....

Now thats the strange thing that might be cleared later, not the whole Vargul deal you were talking about =p.
I don't think we should worry about ''mass resurrection'' though, the Val'kyr aren't Lich Kings.
Heh, well considering it was such a major point of the Val'kyr and the Vrykul, a little continuity would be nice to see; Forsaken who didn't want to be raised end up as Vargul like creatures. And I don't know... from the wording of the transcript, it sounds like the pet Val'kyr is mass raising a group of corpses; if it was just one or two, can't see Garrosh responding like he did.

Or killed outright, but turning them into
heartless (icon reference)
mindless dead doesn't fit the Forsaken whose greatest trauma is being mind controlled... at least to me.Yeah, but the Vrykul didn't have a choice in the manner after all heh.

Well, that's pretty arguable so let's not get ahead ourselves =D.
True, we'll have to wait for video or screenshots to find out just how many are raised at once.
